Candidates who have passed higher secondary (10+2) with a combination of 3subjects physics, chemistry and biology examination from a Board recognized by the Government are eligible for 3years B.Sc in Microbiology prgramme. Generally, colleges offering BSc in Microbilogy seeks good percentage in +2level and does not have any entrance exam. However, some private institution conduct entrance exam. For admission you need to check with your desire college's notice board. |

If you are a student of science stream with biology as one of the subjects in your school curriculum and if you have more than 70 - 80% of aggregate in the PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) in your schooling final, you are more eligible for the admission for the same. In the mean while, you should have the interest in the allied medical sciences and technological advancements by you can thrive well in this subject. Also finally, some degree of physical stamina, for the whole standing in the lab during the practical classes. Good percentage is important since there is some competition in the merit list and if you are at the top then you can surely get into BSc Microbiology There are some institutes which conduct entrance exams but mostly take through 12th std marks Cheers

For getting admission in a reputed college you should score greater than 75% in your 12th standard. Your admission depends on the merit basisof the college. Best of luck |
