Re: What are the technical opportunities for B.E computer science students in IAF/Army? dear friend, After completion of BE course you want to join in IAF in technical branch, then you have to appear in UES exam.. Eligibility for UES exam:- 1.The candidate must have complete the graduation in engineering field with 60% aggregate from a recognized university.. 2.The candidate should not have any pending backlogs during graduation. 3.The age should be in between 18-28 years.. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill.. All the best.. |

In both the cases you can be posted as a captain. and also you can apply for Combined Defence Services examination as a regular/short service commissioned officer.. For regular service training will be Indian Military Academy , Dehradun.. For short service Officer’s Training Academy, Chennai... i hope these are helpful to you |

In both the cases you can be posted as a captain. and also you can apply for Combined Defence Services examination as a regular/short service commissioned officer..
Short service is for 5 years and after completion of 5 years either you can resign or opt for an extension for five years or a permanent commission. One can join armed forces after graduation. For that you need to apply for CDS i.e Combined Defense Service Exam , need Girls/Guy with any Degree from recognized university. |
