NET-NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY TEST conducted by UGC two times every year one in June and other in December for selection of Lectureship and award to JRF(Junior Research Fellowship). The candidate having Post Graduation in any stream with at least 55% marks(50% for SC/ST candidate) from a recognised University above the age of 19 years is eligible to apply for NET. There is no upper age bar to those applying for Lectureship but for those applying for JRF should be within the age of 28 years. The NET can be applied through on line and after which a hard copy of the on line application is sent to the UGC authority within the stipulated time frame. The registration process for June NET exam 2012 has already been over, the exam will be held on 17.06.2012. So if you are interested you can apply for the forthcoming NET December 2012 exam. The NET exam date is18-12-2011 But still UGC have not published application brochure . The application details will be published in 26th September,2011.So you have to prepare well for NET exam. There are one declaration is announced UGC . No negative Marking in Paper-I and Paper -II exam. Online form will available after 26th September.
