Requirements- Height --- 157.5 cms Chest --- 81 cms Age --- Less than 28 Qualification --- Graduate Relaxation --- SC, ST, ND Exam --- UPSC, MPSC ```````````````````` Thanks |

Hello sir,Yes of course after completing your diploma studies you can go through the Engineering entrance test(ECET) examination for entrance into Engineering colleges directly to the 2'nd year.Only private colleges which are under the University allow diploma students to enter into the 2'nd year as lateral entry but for the Universities you have to go through the course right from the first year. Everything will depend upon your score and the options which you have kept in the counselling.If you secured good marks then you will definitely get a seat in University.Each college reserves about 1/10th or even more seats(depending upon the State Government) in each particular course for the diploma students.So every college which is under the University allows diploma students to join directly in the second year. |

Hi dear, for the ssc exams following are the necessary eligibility criteria. your maximum age should not be more than 28 years. where as the minimum age is 21 year. there is relaxation in case of the sc/st as per rule of the government. minimum height should be 157.5 cms and chest 81 cms is required. To become a Customs Officer you will have to take the Civil Services Examination which provides entry into 27 different services including the Indian Customs & Central Excise Services.You can also take your State Public Service Commission’s Allied Services Exam for state-level jobs in Customs and Excise. A Bachelor’s degree in any stream is the basic qualification required for becoming a custom officer. Candidates applying for custom officer should not be more than 28 years of age & should have a minimum height of 157.5 cms. To prepare for the custom officer exam you need to in touch with all the current affairs and should have good General Awareness. Regular reading of newspapers will help you. You should also need to read Competition Master at a regular basis |
