MAQ is good company in terms of learning technical things in short span of time.. so you are kind of under a lil pressure but thats enjoyable.. but agree with the point that you will learn technologies which are maybe not used elsewhere.. coz they use Win 8.1 while others still using XP |

The way mangers treat you is pathetic and Rajeev Agarwal - the founder and CEO of company doesn't even know how to talk to employees. He will always scold you for the faults that you have not done. Take my advice - never go for MAQ software. I was an ex-employee of this company and all the employees have hard time in this company. |

This is important as you must choose the one based on your interest. You have to be careful in this as once you gain experience in an area it will be difficult to switch over to another area. In terms of reputation in India TCS has more value. THANKS |

Yes my friend you are thinking right.You decided that you did not want to go with a company just because of higher salary. I think you are right. Both T.C.S. and M.A.Q. are good company. But there is a little bit job security in T.C.S. compared to M.A.Q.. Another thing is that as you are fresher then TCS will be your best option for you. Once you shine in TCS then you can easily change your company when you have more than 2-5 years experience. Besides this , I also mention that if you the quality then don't be narrow minded. Always think higher and higher. good luck. |

If you are looking at faster growth and exposure to latest technologies, then MAQ Software may provide better options than TCS. Smaller companies are more agile and flexible. Also, you have additional opportunities to grow, are stronger technically and get better project and client exposure. You may get it in other larger companies but this will take time. I strongly recommend to build a strong foundation and the first 3-4 years of your career are very important. Go for a company that provides good technical exposure and growth. I know MAQ provides this for sure. |

Re: TCS or MAQ software: Better company to work for? friend though it will be unfair to call a company better or worse but one thing i can share is that tcs is the largest IT company in india as per revenue earned as well as the no. of employees hence tcs may seem a good option but maq software is also a reputed it company hence its upto u to prefer from the above two. |

It will give you more global exposure. Your pay package will defintely increase after some time. You have more chances of going to foreign. So join TCS. |

With TCS you will get a you will get a good corporate exposure, better company standards and better job security. With MAQ you might not get all of the above but due to it being a smaller scale company you will get better and faster recognition for your work and a lot more to learn. Its a standard debate between a big corporate giant vs small agile company. Its upto you to decide if you want to race with 10000 people or 50, your chances of being notices in the latter is higher.
