Re: Details of civil services exams notification? Candidate should be citizen of India. He/She should have minimum passed a UnderGraduate course(any degree). He/She should pass the Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) which will be conducted every year. He/She must have completed 21 years of age. |

Civil services exam is conducted by UPSC.It includes exams such as IAS,IAF,etc. The minimum eligibility is as follows: -Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. -Age limit:21-30yrs. If you fulfill the above criteria,then you can apply for the exam.The exam is conducted in three stages i.e Preliminary,Main and Interview.You need to pass all the three stages. For notification of the exam,you can visit the UPSC website. www.upsc.gov.in |

Re: Details of civil services exams notification? the number of attempts is more for OBC,ST/SC than that of a general category,why? because i don't like this.By giving this opportunity so many general category students are faced so many problems.I think examination is only test the knowledge of student not for differentiate the student |

As you know for any exam, you need to pay a minimal application fee. So to apply in exams conducted by the UPSC, you have to pay a small amount for application that is done through the CRF stamp. The CRF stamps are available in all Head Post Offices and local post offices. The stamps are available in denomination of Rs50/-. Women,SC/ST and physically handicapped candidates are exempted from paying the fees. After purchasing the stamp, you have to paste it on the application form in the area provided for it. The stamp has to be cancelled by the clerk by placing a date stamp on it.The stamp must be placed in such a way that half of it is on the CRF and the other half on the application form. |

Re: Details of civil services exams notification? Hello friend, For applying into the civil services you must have a graduate degree. The application form for this exam is published and the last date of submission will be 21st march2011. The preliminary exam will be held in the month of June i.e. 12th june2011. And the final main exam will be held on 29th october2011. The age criteria will be not more than 30 year. 5% relaxation for the SC/ST/OBC candidates. The number of attempt for the general candidate will be 4 and 7 for backward castes. |
