Re: Date of NDA, CDA exam? Hi Here are some important information about the NDA and CDS. Important NDA Examination Dates (2012) : Notification Date : 31/Dec/2011. Last date to apply : 30/Jan/2012 Examination date : 15/April/2012. Important CDS Examination Dates (2012): Notification Date : 29/Oct/2011. Last date to apply : 28/Nov/2011 Examination date : 12/Feb/2012. ELIGIBILITY For NDA Examination, you have to be a 10+2 from a recognised board and maths and Physics are compulsory subjects in your higher secondary if you want to apply for Naval and Air Force Wings. For CDS Examination you have to be a graduate, or you should be a student of final year graduation. AGE For NDA Examination your age should be between 16.5 to 19 Years, and for CDS examination you should be between 19 to 25 Years. So you can apply for the one you are aiming for. All the best. |

NDA exam information National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army etc. Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam: Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Citizenship: Indian NDA-I exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012. Exam will held on 15th April 2012. NDA-II exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012. Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012. CDS exam information CDS stands for Combined Defense Service exam,this exam is held twice in year and exam is conducted by UPSC. Eligibility for CDS examination: Educational Qualifications: For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent. For Naval Academy: B.Sc. with Physics and/or Mathematics or Bachelor of Engineering. For Air Force Academy: B.Sc. of a recognized University or equivalent with Physics and/or Mathematics as subjects or Bachelor of Engineering. Age: For IMA: Unmarried male candidates between 19-24 years For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-22 years For Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates between 19-23 years For Officers Training Academy: Male candidates (married or unmarried) between 19-25 years Important date for CDS-2012 exam: CDS-I exam: Issuing of application form from 29th Oct 2011 to 28th Nov 2011. Exam will held on 12th Feb 2012. CDS-II exam: Issuing of application form from 2nd June 2012 to 2nd July 2012. Exam will held on 16th Sep 2012. |
