Re: Can I appear for WBCS after doing BCA from distance? Dear friend, Yes you can be a wbcs officer. For that you just need to be graduate in any discipline and from a recognised university. Age:Must be between 21-30years on 1st january when giving the exam. Upper age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST candidates . For more please visit the government website. Thank you.Regards. |

Yes, BCA student are for WBCS EXAM.But your university must be Recognized. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Candidate should have minimum graduation degree with any discipline from a recognized university. AGE CRITERIA: For General category candidate,age should be between 21 to 30 years For OBC category candidates age should be between 21 to 33 years For SC/ST category candidates age should be between 21 to 35 years NUMBER OF ATTEMPTS: 4 attempts for General category candidates 7 attempts for OBC category candidates Unlimited attempts for sc/st category candidates For more details & updated information visit www.upsc.gov.in Thanks |
