Re: Duration of company secretary course? The company secretatiat is a 3 year course. you have to pass your Intermediate for persuing it. It has Three stages preliminary,intermediate and final. tou can do it ner your nearest ICWAI center there you can know about the fees. |

Company secretary course have 3 stages - foundation stage, intermediate stage and final stage. cost of foundation stage - Rs 3600 , intermediate - Rs 7750, final - Rs 7500 The Institute of Company Secretaries of India is the main institute that offers this program. The head office is in New Delhi and several other cities too have regional councils...some are pune,mumbai,coimbatore,bangalore,kolkata, chennai etc.. The test contain descriptive type questions. Aspirants should study the curriculum as part of preparation for the exam. The test comprises Economics, Business Environment and financial accounting. It also consists of Business laws,Information systems. The student should have awareness in English and Business Communication also. |

Re: Duration of company secretary course? A candidate aspiring to become a Company Secretary has to go through three levels of company secretary scourses and a rigorous training schedules. Three levels of a Company Secretary Courses are: Company Secretary Foundation Courses: The company secretary candidate should have at least passed 10+2 examinations to get into the Foundation Course. This is a basic-level course, which is of eight-month duration ( 8 Months). Company Secretary Intermediate Courses: The company secretary candidate should have passed Foundation Course of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India or ICWAI, ICAI or got their graduation degree or a Master’s degree to get enrolled into the Intermediate Course. The duration of the Intermediate Course is nine months ( 9 Months). Company Secretary Final Courses: The company secretary candidate becomes eligible to sit for the final course after he completes and clears the Intermediate Course. The fee for CS Foundation Programme is - Rs. 3600/- for Executive Programme - Rs. 7000/- for Commerce Graduates while - Rs. 7750/- for Non Commerce Students |

Re: Duration of company secretary course? hi,,, duration of c.s that is company secratary course is 2 years and 6 months after the completion of 12th and only 2 years after graduation. i may cost you around RS.30000/-(if you do from chapter) for the full course. good luck. |
