Re: Procedure to appear for NDA Exam after completion of 10th standard? Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA after just passing the 10th class examination. To apply for NDA, you have to qualify the 10+2 course or any equivalent from a recognized Board/University. |

For that you have to complete 12th at least.. After completion of 12th in any stream you can apply for NDA exam.. SO, go for 12th first , then think about NDA exam.. All the best. |

Eligibility Criterion for NDA NDA (National Defence Academy) exam is held twice a year in the months of April and August.. In order to appear for NDA..you should have the following minimum qualifications first :- 1) You should be a 12th pass out (Physics,Chemistry and Maths are necessary subjects in your 12th boards..if you wish to join Air Force or Navy) 2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years.. 3) You should be an unmarried male.. You should have perfect eyesight and good physical health.. The written exam shall test you on the following things :- English Basic Maths General Knowledge You will have to first clear the written exam..then the interview and then the medical examination.. The NDA II was already completed and the NEXT year dates also released from the official websites. The NDA exam will be conducted on 15/04/2012 The date of applications available from the websites:31/Dec/2011 The last date to apply for the NDA exam is:01/Jan/2012. NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC, Twice in a year. To apply for this examination, You have to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised board. Final year 12Th appearing candidates are also eligible for NDA Examination. With 10th qualification you are not eligible for NDA exam.So to eligible for NDA exam you should complete 12th class with PCM stream. National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army. Eligibility criteria for NDA exam: Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Dear Friend,  NDA (National Defence Academy) is one of the platforms through which you can express your indomitable spirit for your own country India. Eligibility for Indian Army : 1:You should pass 12(10+2)th or its equivalent from State Board / Universities. you can also apply as appearing for 12th examination. 2:Marital Status:Unmarried 3:Sex :Male. 4:Age Limit : Between 16.5 and 19. 5:Nationality: You have to be A citizen of India, or subject of Bhutan, or subject of Nepal, or Tibetan refugee . The UPSC (NDA) exam is conducted twice a year (April and October. Selection Procedure: National Defence Academy selects the candidates in three phases : i)A written examination by the Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). ii)An interview by the Service Selection Board(SSC) to check the potentialities Intelligence and personality. ii)A medical examination by a Service Medical Board(SMB). The written examination is of two papers of all objective type questions. i)Mathematics of 2.5 hours maximum number 300 including Arithmetic, Mensuration, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics. ii)General Ability test of 2.5 hours maximum number 600 including General English, General Knowledge,Physics,Chemistry,General Science,History,Freedom Movement,Geography,Current Event After clearing the written exam you will be called for a five-day interview process with the State Selection Board (SSB) which is the final step of selection. On completion of the NDA course, you are sent to the respective service academies for your pre- commission training.
