Re: How much marks required to be eligible for IAS exam? You must be completed your graduation from recognized university are eligible for IAS exam .There is no marks criteria. IAS exam are conducted by UPSC. Eligibility criteria for IAS entrance exam are as follows :- 1]A candidate should be graduate from any stream 2] A candidate should be passed his graduation with minimum 50 % . 3]A candidate should be citizen of India . 4]Age limit between 21 to 30 years for open category. 5] For OBC candidate age relaxation is of 3 years . 6]For SC/ST candidate age relaxation is of 5 years . 7]A candidate should be citizen of India. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :- Educational Qualifications for IAS : Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Age limit: 21 years must be completed on 1st August of the year, which a candidate is appearing. Maximum 30 for general category, 33 for OBCs and 35 for SCs/STs. Dear friend, IAS is a civil service exam conducted by UPSC every years.As you have asked the cut of for IAS then i can tell you that cut of is different for all categories .I mean to say that the cot of for General will be different as well as cut of for OBC,SC/ST will be different. So you haven't mention your category so i can't help you. There is no such requirement for civil service entrance exam. all the eligibility requirements are you must have a degree from any discipline. you must be completed 21 years of age. these are the only requirements for IAS entrance examination. the degree which you pursue must be of Indian Recognized University. and one more thing while applying for IAS entrance exam you have to have provisional degree certificate in your hand this indirectly mean that you should be free from back logs.
