A graduate can be applicable for Indian Administrative Service, for this you have to apply Civil Services Examination once in a year. This Civil Services examination conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). Eligibility criteria:- A graduation or any equivalent degree completed can be eligible for this exam. Final year students are also eligible, and also there is no percentage restrictions to apply this exam. Applicant must be an Indian origin. Age criteria:- Minimum age shall be 21 years and maximum age shall not be exceeded 30 years, 3 years relaxation in age limit for OBC candidates, 5 years relaxation in age limit for SC/ST candidates. Selection stages:- Civil Services Preliminary Examination, Civil Services Mains Examination, Personal Interview. Number of attempts:- 4 times Chance for General candidates, 7 times Chance for OBC candidates, There is no limit for SC/ST candidates. IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. IAS exam is a civil service examination. This exam conducts Union Public Service Commission once in a year. Eligibility: Eligibility Criteria required for the four steps They are Nationality Educational Qualification Age limit Gender No of Attempts Above steps you can satisfy you can apply for the IAS exam. Nationality: The applicant should origin of India. Educational Qualification: The applicant should pass the Bachelor degree or any equivalent degree candidates are eligible. The candidate have no restrictions for the percentage in Graduation, The final year pursuing applicants are also eligible to become IAS Officer. Age limit: The applicant minimum age limit is 21 years. The applicant maximum age limit is below 30 years. Relaxation: The applicants have upper age relaxation for the other categories. 3 years for the OBC. 5 years for the SC\ST. 10 years for the Physical Handicapped candidates. Gender: All type of candidates to become a IAS Officer. Application form for IAS According to the UPSC guidelines..the following candidates can apply for the Civil Service Exams :- 1) you should be a graduate or in the final year of graduation from a recognized college in India 2) You should be within the age limit of 21-30 years for general,21-33 years for OBC and 21-35 years for SC/ST The maximum number of attempts for General category is 4,for OBC its 7 and for SC/ST there is no limit.. --->The Civil Service Exam is held only once a year and for this year the exam is over..and there is no official word out as yet for the next year's exam.. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any dicipline are eligible for IAS exam. But your age should be in between 22 to 30 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candiadte is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. thanks |
