Sorry, female candidates cannot apply for NDA as they are not as much stronger in physical criteria as male candidates are. However, these are the categories under which a girl can be a part of the Indian Army: Short Service Commission Non Tech Women Vacancies Per Course : 175 (Twice a year) Notify in Employment News and leading Daily news Paper : Notified by UPSC under the aegis of CDSE in Mar/Apr and Sep/Oct Eligibility Criteria Age : 19 to 25 yrs Born Between : 2nd Jan to 1st Jan for Apr Course. 2nd Jul to 1st Jul for Oct Course. Qualification : Graduation / Post Graduation from Recognised University. Marital Status : Un Married Application to be Received by : May and Oct Likely SSB Date : Apr and Oct / Nov Date Commencement of Trg : Jan and Jul Training Academy : OTA Chennai Duration of Trg : 49 Weeks Short Service Commission Tech Women Vacancies Per Course : As Notified (Twice a year) Notify in Employment News and leading Daily news Paper : Notified by Additional Directorate General Recruiting / AG Branch in Dec/Jan and Jun / Jul Eligibility Criteria Age : 19 to 25 yrs Born Between : 2nd Apr to 1st Apr for Apr Course. 2nd Oct to 1st Oct for Oct Course. Hello, No, girls are not eligible to appear for NDA(National Defence Academy) exam is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission). * Candidates should be unmarried male. * Candidates should have 16.5 to 19 years. Sorry, as if you are a girl you are not eligible to write NDA exam. |

Although you have done your +2 you cannot apply for the NDA exam as you are a girl as only unmarried male candidates are eligible for the NDA exam. NDA entrance exam Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status : Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible. I am very sorry to say that girls are not eligible to join the Indian Army after the class 12th board exam only the unmarried males are eligible for the NDA exam .. To apply for the NDA exam one has to be between the age of 16.5 years to 19 years of old and must have passed the 12th board exam with science stream with a minimum of the 60% of the marks from any of the recognised board ...... One can apply both online and offline for the NDA exam ... For the other details you can visit the UPSC site :http://www.upsc.gov.in But girls can join the Indian army only after the graduation from any of the recognized university ... Then they can apply for the CDS which is conducted by the UPSC and even through the UES (University Entry Scheme) ..... For the other info you can go to the site:: http://www.upsc.gov.in |

But There is no chance for Girls writing The NDA Exam. Only Unmarried candidate of Age limit 16.5 to 19.5 years are Eligible for Writing A NDA entrance Exam. So, you finish Degree and Write CDS and SSC examination And join in the Indian Defence. |

NDA exam is meant only for the unmarried male who have attained the age of 16.5 to 19 years with a minimum qualification of 12th class passed from a recognized board. So girls from any stream cannot get entry in the NDA entrance exam.But if you really want to serve your Nation then you can join army as a number of fields are available in army like in technical field and also in other field like pilot, navy . |
