Re: What is the main difference between M.Tech and MS?

dear friend,
Both are near about same course..
M.S course means master of science.. In abroad M.tech course is referred as M.S course.

Which is much more valuable than M.tech course.

i think if you have interest in doing masters from abroad then M.S is the best option..

now, it is up to you..

All the best.

dear friend,

both are the master degree and has its own importance in his own field,
but M.tech is more valued than MS .
because M.tech deals with many types of area and mainly how and what .
best of luck.

Re: What is the main difference between M.Tech and MS?

MS is a research program. Here you have to study a little bit about engineering subjects, but more emphasized on research work. The time period may be expanded according to candidate working efficiency. It may be of 2-4 Years.

Whereas in M.TECH we studydeeply about engineering subjects. We have to attend more classes in M.TECH as compared to MS. Also we have 6 months research in M.TECH.

M.TECH is almost completed in 2 years.

So M.TECH is post graduate engineering degree and MS is a lower post research degree.
