Re: Eligibility Criteria For NIMCET Exam? The eligibility for NIMCET exam: you should have minimum of 60% aggregate in 12th as well as Graduation. For SC/ST candidates they should have got at least 55% aggregate if you are SC/ST then there will be chances of giving exam. It is must and should that you have to contain Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2 level and in graduation too. NIMCET Exam Pattern : NIMCET 2012 test will be conducted with only one question paper containing 120 multiple choice questions covering the given below subjects. Each correctly answered question will carry 4 marks and each wrongly answered question will lead to negative one mark. You have to mark the responses in the OMR sheets supplied at the time of examination. You have to bring your own HB pencil, eraser and ball point pen. Calculators, mobile phones or any other materials will not be allowed in the examination hall. |

NIMCET - NIT MCA Common Entrance Test NIMCET is conducted by NIT Warangal for MCA admissions. Eligibility criteria for NIMCET - Indian Nationals securing atleast 60% marks aggregate or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% marks or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC, ST category) in (i) 12th (i.e. 10 + 2) level or equivalent, with Mathematics as one of the subjects at either 10+1 or 10+2 level or at both the levels AND (ii) Qualifying Degree - Bachelor’s Degree of Full time 3 year or more duration from a recognized University with at least one of the following subject - Mathematics, Statistics, Business Mathematics, Business Statistics, Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Elementary Mathematics, Elementary Statistics |

Re: Eligibility Criteria For NIMCET Exam? I am sorry to say that you are not eligible to appear for the NIMCET exam as you dont have Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2 level. The eligibility for NIMCET exam as follows 1.One should have a minimum of 60% in 10+2 and graduation level 2.For sc/st candidates it is just 55% minimum. 3.It is must and should that you have to contain Mathematics as one of the subject in your 10+2 level and in graduation too. Any way dont feel disappointed. You have golden opportunity in the form of MBA. Now a days these people are being sold as hot cakes. Try for that |

To get admission into mca program in nit, nimcet is made mandatory . Eligibility criteria:- -the minimum education qualification required to appear for the examination is the bachelor’s degree from the reputed university. -the candidates must study mathematics as a subject in the plus-two stream or in the graduation level. They should have minimum 60% mark in the higher secondary level and 55% in that of eth graduation. -the final year students are also eligible to appear for the examination. Any indian national with not less than 21 years of age can take the examination. Good luck.. |

(ii) bachelor’s degree of full time 3 year duration from a recognized university with any one of (a) mathematics (b) statistics (c) business mathematics (d) discrete mathematics (e) mathematical foundations of computer science (f) business statistics (g) computational mathematics (h) elementary mathematics (i) elementary statistics; as one of the subjects. Those who have done bridge course in mathematics are also eligible to apply. The percentage marks for (i) and (ii) above will be calculated on the basis of method used by respective board/ university. Students completing degree from open universities are also eligible to apply provided their course is approved by UGC/AICTE and distance education council (DEC) of govt of India.

You can check you eligibility from here: NIMCET Eligibility Indian Nationals securing 60% marks or 6.5/10 CGPA (55% or 6.0/10 CGPA for SC/ST) in each of the examinations of (i) 12th level with Mathematics and (ii) Bachelor’s Degree of Full time 3 year duration from a recognized University With any one of Mathematics Statistics Business Mathematics Discrete Mathematics Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science Business Statistics Computational Mathematics Elementary Mathematics Elementary Statistics as one of the subjects.
