Re: How to apply for CPT entrance exam? Since, you are graduated you are exempted from CPT exam. You can directly enrol for the next stage that is IPCC and start you study for both the groups. The application form are available with ICAI offices or you can even download the form from ICAI website www.icai.org. Fill the form alongwith fees and start preparing for IPCC papers. |

It is an objective type test held every February, May, August and November. It consists of four subjects namely Accounting, Mercantile Laws, General Economics and Quantitative Aptitude. Which is for 200 marks. Application forms are made available in Regional and Branch Offices of the Institute. Given below are the eligibility criteria for chartered accountancy. • The students must have passed 10+2 examination or its equivalent, from any recognized Board. • Candidates, who have passed B.Com, M.Com, LLB, ICWA, CS or MBA at the first attempt, are also eligible to apply. • The candidates, who have appeared or appearing in final year of the qualifying examination, are also eligible to apply. • The students, who have registered for CPT Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before October 1, 2009, are also eligible to appear in the entrance test. Education eligibility:-- minimum 12 th pass or even graduates are too allowed.. CPT exam conducts twice a year..in the month of 1st JUNE 1st OCTOBER and notification come before 2 months ..(There are rarely chances of change in dates.) Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is an entry Stage test for Chartered Accountancy Course. Examination in paper pencil mode will be conducted on :19th June, 2011 but this only for those one who already registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India on or before 1st April, 2011... Dear, you will have to take the registration in CPT with ICAI. the registration form can be download from internet on the site www.icai.org and you can also get the all details from this side. The Registration is being continued all over the year. Now, there are two mode of exam is conducted by Institute. 1. on line ( after getting the registration you will be applicable for the exam after 6 month. online exam is conducted by institute 4 times in a year ) 2. written test which is conducted by institute 2 times in a year. when a guys go for the exam and unfortunately do not clear the exam then he will get the next chance only after 6 months ( even in online Exam ). The exam will be in objective types question. There will be 200 questions having 1 marks for every question and the candidates will have to score at least 100 marks. There are a negative marking approach which is -0.25 for every wrong answer. [/COLOR]papers are - [/COLOR]1. Accounts 2. Statics and math 3. Mercantile law 4. Economics |
