Re: How to prepare for RAS exam? Preparation Tips for Rajasthan Administrative Services Exam Candidates who have applied for this exam are advised to understand the new exam pattern carefully. The commission has removed the optional paper in the preliminary exam. As there are objective type questions in both sections, aspirants should be very conscious about time management. The official website of the commission provides detailed syllabus of the examination. Candidates are advised to go through the prescribed syllabus in detail. Apart from this, they can refer other study materials available in the market. Self study is the best way to crack such competitive exams. It is possible to download model question papers from various websites and practice mock tests. Such materials will help them to get familiar with the exam pattern as well as to get comfortable with time management. Candidates can rely on national and regional dailies to obtain details about the current affairs of the State. |

Re: How to prepare for RAS exam? Hi friend, RAS stands for Rajasthan Administrative Service. This exam RPSC every year. RPSC stands for Rajasthan Public Service Commission. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA: The candidate should be Indian. The candidate roguel complete the Graduation from recognized University. No percentage required for this exam. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible for this exam. The candidate minimum age limit is 25 years. And the candidate maximum age limit is 45 years. SELECTION PROCESS: Preliminary Examination Main Examination Personal Interview Exam Pattern: This exam pattern is two Papers Paper-I Paper-II Paper-I: General Knowledge General Science Marks: 200 Paper-II: Selecti Any two optional Subjects to given below list. Re: How to prepare for RAS exam? Rajasthan Administrative Service,popularly known as RAS, is the supreme civil service of the Indian state of Rajasthan. The recruitment to these Service is made on the basis of annual Competitive Examination. The officers are included in the state cadre of civil service officers. The cadres usually start from a designation lower in rank than Indian Administrative Service (IAS) (one of the All India Services). However, promotee RAS officers gradually can take posts equivalent to IAS officers.RAS exam is organised by Rajasthan Public Service Commission(RPSC) ,a Rajasthan government body.Generally vacancies of the RAS are open once in two to three years. RAS Exam-Following courses are available tochose for the Exam. Re: How to prepare for RAS exam? for applying for a IAS EXAM you need a graduation in any field from any college . - as you have done your graduation in civil engineering so you are eligible for IAS EXAM . - IAS EXAM IS CONDUCTED BY UPSC . Eligibility: Age: -it is between 21 to 30 for general candidate . - and there is age relaxation for reserved category . Education: - a bachelors degree in any field and from any university . -Number of attempts: general -4 ,obc-7, sc/st-no limit important point- - for selection in this exam you need to command in G.K . - it will be better that you start your preparation from the start of the graduation degree. - also you can join some good coaching institute for guidance . |

But you haven't furnished the details about your accomplishments, I mean your qualifcation, Age etc. Anyways, The literal requirement for eligiblity to RAS exam is (1)The minimum educational qualification required for RAS exam is a bachelor's degree from a recognised university. (2)The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and should not be over 35 years. So, If you have passed these two requirements, Then you are BASICALLY eligible for the Exam.
