Re: How many total AIEEE seats are there? There are nearly 25000 seats in AIEEE in good colleges. But most of the engineering colleges which does not participate in the counseling of AIEEE considers the AIEEE msrks for admission into some of its seats. |

Re: How many total AIEEE seats are there? dear friend, there are so many seats available for the basis of AIEEE rank holder student. In central counseling of AIEEE approx 55000 student is called every year. But in different state engineering colleges also offers 10% seats for AIEEE rank holders. So you need not to be worried. good luck. |

While there were a total of 18,259 seats last year, the tally has risen to 24,897 with increased intake in the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), the Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), deemed universities and other Central Universities this year along with 10 new nit's . |

The Eleventh All India Engineering Entrance Examination AIEEE will be held on April 29, 2012 Every year close to 1200,000 students appear for AIEEE, for AIEEE 2011 the number of candidates registered was 11,14,880 and for AIEEE 2010 the number was 11,18,148 students. The total number of seats across all participating institutes will be approximately 28000 for engineering and 1000 seats for architecture. |

So there are in all about 28000 seats in all the NIT's List Of National Institutes of Technology (NIT's) in India NIT Allahabad NIT Bhopal NIT Calicut NIT Durgapur NIT Kurukshetra NIT Jamshedpur NIT Jaipur NIT Nagpur NIT Rourkela NIT Hazratbal, Srinagar NIT Surathkal NIT Surat NIT Tiruchirappalli NIT Warangal NIT Silchar NIT Hamirpur NIT Jalandhar NIT Patna NIT Raipur NIT Agartala Other than this there are many private colleges which take admissions by AIEEE results. Even the students having ranks about 500000 can get admission in some private college. |
