Re: Is a CA eligible for IAS exam?

Dear Friend,

The Full Form of CA is Chartered Accountant. As per your query , i just want to tell you that anyone who fulfills the qualifications required for the IAS Exam is eligible to appear for the same.

The Civil Services Exam is generally known as the IAS Exam. The Union Public Service Commission conducts the IAS Exam every year for those candidates who are interested in joining the following departments :

* Indian Administrative Services

* Indian Police Services

* Indian Economic Services

* Indian Foreign Services

The Qualifications Required for the IAS Exam are :

- The candidate must hold a Bachelor`s Degree in any stream from any recognized college/university.

- Candidates in final year graduation can also apply for the exam.

- No Specific percentage is required for getting the eligibility for this exam.

- The Age Limit For IAS Exam :

a) For General Candidates : 21-30 yrs

b) For OBC Candidates : 21-33 yrs

c) For SC/ST Candidates : 21-35 yrs

The Civil Services Exam or better say the IAS Exam is considered as of the toughest exams so it requires ample knowledge as well as preparation from candidates who are willing to crack the exam.

The Exam is conducted in the following steps :

1) Preliminary Examination

2) MAINS Examination

3) Interview

You need to pass all the three steps if willing to crack this exam.

The IAS Exam is conducted as per the following pattern :

So , just check that whether you fulfill the above mentioned criteria ,and if you fulfill all the qualifications mentioned above , then you can appear for the exam.

This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want.

Re: Is a CA eligible for IAS exam?

both are the qualification exams for Engineering ..i.e. if you get a good rank and seat they will give you the Bachelors degree.

as you know these exams are known very tough if you're light..

if not like that..

if you're tough than the exams then you're the winner..

coming to the answer of your question.

to crack these type of exams you must have these qualities in you.
Ideal Goal
Vision on your Goal
Dedication
Hardwork
Smartwork
Capability to Burn Midnight Oil
Grabbing Opportunity.
and so on..

these are the qualities which i believe in ..
