N.D.A exam is conducted by the u.p.s.c twice in a year in month of April/august. age limit:-16.5-19 year. But you are not eligible for N.D.A because you cross the age limit. If you really want to join army then you can apply after graduation through C.D.S exam. This exam is also conducted by the U.P.S.C twice in a year. age limit:- 19-24 year. good luck! |

Dear friend, If you are interested in Indian Army Then you will have to sit for NDA exam conducted by UPSC twice in every year Here is the eligibility criteria for NDA examination : 1.You must complete your 12th standard examination. 2.You must be an Indian. 3.Your age should be within 16.5 to 19 years. As you want make your carrier in the Indian army, you must have to qualify the NDA [NATIONAL DEFENSE ACADEMY] exam, conducted by the UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION [UPSC].. For appear in this examination, you must have at least a 12th degree from a recognized board. For apply in ARI FORCE & IN NAVAL WING, you must have Physics & Maths in 12th with at least 60%, as you are eligible for the naval & air force wing, but you can still apply for the Indian military academy [IMA]. The age limit for this examination is 16.5-19 years,. There is not any kind of age relaxations are applicable for any reserved category. Also, you must have Indian nationality with marital status unmarried. Physical standard-

How To Join Indian Army After 12th You can appear for the NDA (National Defence Academy) Exam which is conducted twice every year in the months of April and August in order to join the Indian Army.. The next NDA exam is on 15th April,2012 and the forms for the exam shall be available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for the submission of form is 30th January,2012.. Since,the age limit for the NDA exam is 16.5 to 19 years..hence this might be your last attempt for appearing in the NDA exam.. You can also appear for the CDS (Combined Defence Services) Exam for which you need to complete your graduation first.. You can join the Indian Military Academy through this exam for which the age limit is 19-24 years.. Both the exam shall test your general knowledge,basic maths and english.. all the best.. Re: How to join in Army being a candidate having passed 12th with PCM with 59.8% at an age of 19 years? Soon after completion of 12th class, one can join Indian Army by cracking the NDA Exam. In order to be eligible for this exam, one should have completed 12th class from a recognized board. One should be in the age group of 16 1/2 years to 19 years to be eligible for this exam. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible to appear for this exam. Unfortunately, as you are at the age of 19 years, you are not eligible to appear for NDA Exam. So, I would suggest you to complete your Graduation first with any of the stream and then appear for CDS Exam which is going to be conducted by UPSC and crack the exam. Through which you can join Indian Army. You can appear for this exam even in the final year of Graduation also. For more information on this exam, you can visit http://www.upsc.gov.in/ |
