Re: Criteria for getting appointed as a lecturer in degree college? For the job in the govt colleges as a Lecturer, you must have to attain the NET entrance exam. This exam is conducted by the UGC every year for the post of JRF and Lectureship. The basic eligibility criteria for this exam is, to have a master degree in any stream from a recognised university with minimum 55% marks in aggregate to be completely eligible for this. Once you clear this is exam, you can be eligible for the job in colleges. |

For getting the post as a Lecturer in the govt degree colleges you must have to appear in the NET examination which is conducted by the UGC. For being eligible in this exam ,it is must to have a Post graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university with scoring 55% marks in aggregate. |

Criteria for getting appointed as a lecturer in degree college You can easily teach in private and govt colleges after qualify the exam called NET. Colleges time to time publish vacancies for lecturer in Daily newspaper. After qualify the NET exam you become eligible to apply in these colleges College/institution will take the interview of candidate. If college/institution will find the candidate right for lecturership they can appoint the candidate as college's lecturer. Minimum Eligibility For applying in NET examination 1,Post Graduation in the subject from recognized university 2,55% marks in post graduation. Age limit For Lecturer ship - There is no age limit to apply for Lecturer ship. To get appointed as a lecturer in Government degree college with M.Sc , M.Phil is suffecent or ned of NET cetificate Some colleges can appoint M.Phil qualified candidate as the lecturer in the college but all the colleges do not have same eligibility criteria for appointing the candidate as lecturer in the college so ,they may not prefer the M.Phil qualified candidate for lecturership. if a candidate has completed pg degree through distance education,does he qualify to get appointed as a lecturer if you fulfill other minimum requirement and your distance education university is recognized than you are eligible for NET examination. Hi dear, as you want into a good degree college as a lecturer is you have to have a good degree certificate from a well reputed university and prefarable if you have a masters degree then it is well and good or else you have to give a demo to the students and management which is a crucial one if you're a fresher in the demo you have to show all your skills and you should present a very good topic of which every student will have a common interest so it will be more happy to control the class while giving the demo you have to clear the doubt session after that you should be able to explain clearly about the doubt with example too so be thorough on what you're telling the career as a lecturer is more satisfactory if you can manage it very well with different kind of students all the best Thanks |

You must be a post graduate in that particular subject in which you are interested with 55% marks. 2. You must pass the NET exam which is conducted twice in a year JUNE & DECEMBER. 3. You must have some teaching experience from any school or college level. |

FOR teaching in degree college. 1st you post graduate in the subject you want to teach. 2nd you clear the examination called NET. 3rd when vacancy for lecturer arise in college. (usually college publish this in newspaper) you can approach college and may get selected there after give interview . little bit about NET exam The exam consist three papers. Syllabus paper I: It is a objective type paper. General knowledge Current affairs Aptitude and reasoning It is for 100 marks paper II Core subjects it is for 100 marks Paper III Selected core subjects It is for 200 marks Total marks are : 400 This exam happen twice in a year. READ newspaper for apply in these examination. |

Re: Criteria for getting appointed as a lecturer in degree college? criteria for getting appointment in degree college...... firstly you have to qulaifi NET exam.... it is conducted in 72 subjects by 77 universities twice in a year...in last sundays of june and december... for this you can check website www.ugc.ac.in after qualifying this exam you are eligible for applying in various universities and colleges all over the india.... this year it is going to conduct on 26 december... on ugc website you can get everything..if u r having any doubt regarding it all d best... regards swati chauhan |

Hi, Eligibility criteria differs from one college to another or you may say form one university to other. you need to have at least degree from a recognized to be a lecturer in a degree college. Also depending on the subject you may need to have a Master's degree as well. But in most of the cases for a lecturer job you need to be graduate.So you can apply for the post. |

Re: Criteria for getting appointed as a lecturer in degree college? The first thing you need to do is get a masters degree. Then you need to appear for the NET exam. Only after clearing the NET will you be eligible. Look out for advertisements and apply accordingly. |
