Re: Standard Books to prepare for Bank Exams?

Bank PO jobs are in good demand these days. The numbere of candidates who are going to appear for bank exams are going on increasing.

The selection procedure for bank PO position is by
-Written test
-Interview

The written test consists of questions from the following categories
-Reasoning
-Quantitative Aptitude
-General Awareness
-General English
-Computer Knowledge

The written test will be of objective and descriptive too. Only candidates who have gone through the written test wil be called for Interview depending upon the number of vacancies.

For Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, the best book to use is R.S.Agarwal. This book is enough for all bank exams.

For General English also, R.S.Agarwal is available. You can use this book or you can use any other book which is available in the market and which is full of Comprehension, Vocabulary and Grammar aspects.

For General Awareness, I suggest you to use YES publications current affairs book in addition to the BSC (Banking Services Chronicle) magazine.

For Computer Knowledge also, special books are available in the market. You can use the one which you are interested and which you can easily understand.

Along with this, have enough practice of various previous year question papers and model question papers of bank exams.

Have good preparation to the respective bank exam which you are going to appear for and crack the exam.
