Re: How to join CBI? CBI department people are not the only ones serving the country. Engineers also are serving the country by doing their job as Engineers and building India. Some people are probably attracted to it by seeing glamorous roles CBI people are shown as playing and cavorting with women or probably they think there is a possibility for collecting graft. It is not true. It is not a glamorous life. Working for CBI requires many sacrifices. A married man with a family of his own, would be at a disadvantage if he wants to work for CBI, in all true sincerity. As is the case if he works for the Armed Forces or the Police. Now-a-days, even a person who goes abroad in search of job and who sends foreign exchange to his people in India is also considered a patriot. |

Hi dear, you can join cbi throiugh 4 source,given below is the 4 source. 1)to become constable in cbi ,their is direct recruitment ,to see notification always read employmentnews newspaper. 2)to become sub-inspector in cbi,give CDLE(combine graduate level examination) which conducted by staff selection commision ecery year. i)prelim ii)main iii)interview. 3)to become superitendent officers in cbi,you must need to apply CSE(civil service examination )which is conducted by upscd every year, as an ips officer. three steps to get success in CSE exam i)cse prelim ii)main iii)interview. thank you Thanks |

Hi dear, Educational qualifications required to eligible to join the CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation): => Degree in any discipline from a Recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. => A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 / Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/State Government => A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation. Procedure to join in CBI: => To become CBI officer, you may appear for combined graduate preliminary exam, conducted by staff selection commission. => To be eligible for the exam, you must hold a bachelors degree (any*stream), from a recognized university. Note-> The minimum age is 20 years whereas, the maximum age limit is 27 years with relaxation of upto 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CBI EXAM To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. The selection process is contain in two stage In first stage written test:- 1)General question ---------- 200marks 2)English -------------------200 marks In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks. a. Re: How to join CBI?  CENTRAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION [CBI] For become CBI officer, you must have to clear the CGL EXAM ,[COMBINED GRADUATION LEVEL EXAMINATION] conducted by SSC board every year.  The minimum educational requirement for this examination is a graduation degree from a recognized college,. what ever may be the stream is ... The age limit for this examination is 20-27 years,.there are 5 & 3 years of age relaxations are applicable for the SC\ST & OBC candidates, i.e., 21-33 years for the OBC [NON-CREAMY LAYER] 21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates,... exam pattern-
