Re: I want to join Indian Army, what is the procedure? Minimum educational requirements is class 10th passwith Minimum 45% marks in aggregate. Candidates meet the educational, physical and medical standards. NCC certificate holder and sports certificate holder get admission in army easily. |

But with commerce background you can only apply for indian army not for navy or air force. If you have commerce with mathematics then ir would be much better for you. And if you don't have then you can join coaching or tution. It would have better results in future. Mathematics section is of 300 marks alone so you can complete easily and as far as physics and chemistry is concerned you can compensate it with working hard on such as subjects like history, geography, politics, general knowledge and current affairs. If you qualify then ok and if you don't qualify then you can appear for CDSE. Re: I want to join Indian Army, what is the procedure? To join Indian Army you have to appear for CDSE Examination. CDSE stands for Combined Defence Services Exam. Also there are other entries like SSC-Tech and NCC entry. First of all you have to go through initial process that is written exam and then have to clear SSB interview. CDSE Entry : CDSE exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC. Candidate must have completed graduation from any recognised university. Age of candidate must be from 19 to 25 years. Candidate must be unmarried. Females candidate can opt for Officers Training Academy. Selection Procedure : Written Test SSB Interview Technical Entry : This entry also held twice a year. Technical Entry is for BE and B.Tech graduates. Age of candidate must be from 19 to 25 years. Candidate must be unmarried. Candidate will be selected for Officers training Academy. Selection Procedure : Direct SSB call for the candidates above cut-off. NCC Special Entries : This entry also held twice a year. Candidates with minimum B grade in C certificate program are eligible. For this you have to crack CDS (Combined Defence Services Exam). The complete selection procedure would involve CDS Exam Interview CDS Exam is the common written exam for the candidates to be placed in the following defence services Indian Military Academy Indian Naval Academy Indian Air Force Academy Officers Training Academy. Here is the required eligibility criteria to apply for IMA. Candidate should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. The required age criteria will be 19-24 years. The nationality of the candidate should be India. Have good preparation for this Entrance Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

Re: I want to join Indian Army, what is the procedure? dear, you can join the army in many ways, 1.through writing cds(combined defence services) which will be held on 15th february 2010. 2.through military engineering services who are constantly recruiting fresh graduates from engineering colleges. 3. Also there are various ssc exams but let me tell one thing ,to get to the army you not only have to clear the written tests and interviews but also the physical fitness test. |

NDA has three wings. -> Indian Army, -> Indian Navy, -> Indian Airforce. NDA candidate should be complete 12th standard from a recognised state board of india, only unmarried male candidates are eligible. Selection Procedure : Written test, Interview, Medical test. This exam conducted by the upsc twice in a year. CDS exam stands for Combined Defence Service. This is also conducted by the upsc exam. NDA exam eligibility criteria: the candidate should completed 12th standard from a recognized state board of india. The candidate age limit should be 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible this exam. But the candidate should be indian citizen. CDS exam eligibility criteria: your age should be between the 19 to 26 years. The candidate should be citizen of india. You should have completed graduation from a recognized university. Only unmarried male candidates are eligible this exam. Girls are not eligible this exam. The list is as follows: 1.Technical entry scheme(TES,army,navy):You can give interview while pursuing your first year of engineering. 2.University entry scheme(UES,army Navy)efence personnel cmes to ypur college and after taking Pre ssb,give a call for direst SSb. 3.NCC entry(if You hac eNCC C certificate) 4.Combined Defence Services: After Graduation 5.Technical Graduate Course The procedure is: After clearing the written test you willl be called for a SSB interview.It consist of three stages: i)PABT test(optional) ii)Screening Test(1 day) iii)Psychology test,GTO test(3 days) If you cleared the interview then you will have to give a thorough medical test of about 5 days. After that you have to wait for the merit list clearing which you will get a call from Academy to join. Thank you |

First apply to NDA exam by online process or apply to IES exam for graduates for higher jobs the jobs are need studies in maths, physics subjects and qualification is degree for IES Exam <indian engineering servies > please check detaile in Www.joininindianarmy.nic.in age is limit 16.5 to 19years for nda exam, and 19-25 years for ies exam, hight 160cmt, the candidate selected by physical fitnes and exam test. Once we are clear about the Indian army and its ranks, let us have a look at the different processes for selection and the related eligibility criteria. Permanent Commission Eligibility: Men with 10+2/ Intermediate, graduates and engineering graduates as officers Recruitment of Commissioned Officers in the Armed Forces is mainly through the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). 10+2: Through NDA Eligibility: Boys with age between 16.5 years to 19 years. Conducted by UPSC, twice a year in all major cities. There is an interview process with the State Selection Board after clearing the exam. The notification for the exams appears in all major newspapers and publication in addition to the official website. Graduates (Direct Entry) Eligibility: age 19-24 years, University graduate or equivalent Combined Defense Services Examination (CDSE), an all-India competitive examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year. After the interview conducted by Service Selection Board, successful candidates can join Indian Military Academy for their pre- commission training. If finally selected, depending on their merit list ranking, they are sent to Indian Military Academy. Engineering Graduates (Direct Entry) Eligibility: Age 20-27 years, engineering graduate An interview is conducted by Service Selection Board and engineering graduate can directly joint the Indian Military Academy. Univeristy Entry Scheme Eligibility: Age 18-24 years, students in final or pre-final years of engineering degree course They are eligible for induction into technical branches/services of the army. 10+2 (PCM Tech) Eligibility: Age 161/2-191/2 years, 10+2 PCM (Technical) One has to apply directly to the Recruitment Directorate in May and November. Other recruitments Eligibility: Serving JCOS/NCOs/OR in age group of 30-35 years, with an Army Senior School Certificate Pass (Class XI CBSE Pattern) Qualification Government has approved the creation of a 6,000 strong Support Cadre of Special Commissioned Officers. For commissioning eligible candidates will be selected after screening /selection through Service Selection Board and Medical Board. Short Service Commission If one is not sure of a long-term career with Indian army then SSC is the way to go. It gives an option of joining in the Indian Army and serving as a Commissioned officer for 5 years. At the end of the period, you are allowed to opt for a permanent commission. Alternatively you can also choose for another 5 years and also can choose to resign from your post at any time during this period. It is also open to women. There are many few more methods to join Indian army like Officers Training Academy, Women’s Special Entry Scheme, NCC Special Entry Scheme and Short Service Commission Technical. Hi Friend , After 10th you can join Air Force by Clearing NDA exam .The Process is to be short-listed for Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a 3-year training at National Defence Academy, followed by specialised training at the Air Force Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year . Eligibility Criteria: Age : 16 ˝ to 19 years Nationality: Indian Sex: applicable only to men.
