CAT eligibility ::

You must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks.

There is no age restriction .

2.Group Discussion and Interview

CAT 2011 Exam Dates / Notification:-

IIM Calcutta announced CAT 2011 Exam Dates. CAT 2011 will be held in a 20 day window between October 22, 2011 and November 18, 2011.

Pattern of the examination

CAT 2011 will have only two sections instead of three sections.

1.Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
2.Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning.

There will be total 60 questions in the paper, 30 in each section. The duration of CAT 2011 will be 140 minutes.

If you clear written exam only then you will get call for interview and group discussion from the respective IIM's.

after completing under graduation in any one of the specialisation,you can go for CAT exam..

ABOUT CAT EXAM:
common admission test(CAT) is the preliminary test conducted for the admission of MBA in most reputed organisation called IIMs.it is conducted once in a year. it is scholarship exam too. it is considered in many reputed organisation.

EXAM FEE FOR CAT:
rs.1600 for general/obc/mbc categories
rs.800 for sc/st/ph candidates.

you can collect cat form any branch of axis bank.otherwise you can also go by online registration.

common entrance test is commonly known as CAT there are many institute for it like IIMs (kolkata. Banglore,ahmedabad.aurangabad etc..)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR CAT

candidate
must
hold a
Bachelor's
degree

50% marks or equivalent CGPA (In case of SC/
ST/DA categories, it's 45%), awarded by any University, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. Also, this Bachelor's degree must be of duration of at least 3 years post completion of HSC (10 + 2) or equivalent. CAT Syllabus CAT is a two and half hour examination with test paper comprising of questions, which can be placed under four broad categories namely, (a) Verbal Ability (VA), (b) Quantitative ability (QA), (c) Data Interpretation (DI) & Logical Reasoning (LR) and (d) Reading Analitically

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a important component in selecting students for the business administration programs in The Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).


CAT Eligibility

1.>The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.

Hi

CAT is the only exam for admission in IIMs after any graduation course.
COMMON ADMISSION TEST

After Btech or in final year you can appear in cat and you must score above 98.5 percentile to get admission in IIM.
IIm ahemdabad is the best one in all IIMS.
CAT exam conducts every year in a NOV-DEC.
From last year CAT exam is online .
So prepare the best and give best in CAT and get admission in best IIMA.....

Information About CAT Examination :

CAT stands for Common Admission Test and this examination is Conducted by IIM's Every year and to apply for this examination you have to complete your Graduate degree course form a recognised University, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for CAT Examination.

This examination is Conducted by IIM's every year one times. The examination is conducted generally in the month of November and December.

For this year examination was already completed and If your are Interested in this examination, then please complete your Graduation and then apply for this examination. When you are Pursing your Final year examination then you are eligible to apply for this examination.

To apply for CAT Examination, you have to complete your Graduate degree course with minimum 50% Marks form a recognised board.

The examination fees of CAT is Rs e is Rs1600 and If you belong to the SC/ST category then you can pay a discounted fee of Rs 800.

i am student of 3rd year entc engineering.....i want the whole information about CAT exam....like when one should apply for this? where i will get an applications? good institutes or coaching classes in pune area...? according fees for that...?
