I am happy to inform you that you are eligible for I.P.S. after passing graduation with 59% marks.

ELIGIBILITY FOR I.P.S:-
QUALIFICATION:- Graduation with any stream from recoginised

AGE LIMIT:- A candidate must have attained 21 years and not be over
30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

NATIONALITY:- Only Indian nationals are eligible for IAS and IPS.

There are three stage of selection:-
> Prelims Exam
> Mains Exam
> Interview

IMPORTANT DATE FOR CIVIL SERVICES EXAM., 2013
Date Of Notification:-02.02.2013
Last date of submission of form:-04.03.2013 (MONDAY)
Date of exam Prelims:-19.05.2013 (SUNDAY)

Yes you are eligible for it as the marks in the graduation do not matters and you just have passed graduation degree from recognized university.

Age limit 21-30 yrs..

Yes, you are eligible to apply.
As you have passed your graduation degree with passing mark, you can apply for civil service(IPS) exam.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:-

AGE LIMIT:-
AGE LIMIT SHOULD BE 21-30 YEARS.
3 YEARS RELAXATION OF AGE FOR O.B.C. CANDIDATES.
5 YEARS RELAXATION OF AGE FOR SC/ST CANDIDATES.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION:-

CANDIDATE MUST BE A GRADUATE FROM RECOGNIZED UNIVERSITY.
CANDIDATES WHO HAVE COMPLETED THEIR GRADUATION FROM PROFESSIONAL /TECHNICAL COURSES ARE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY.

A CANDIDATE MUST BE CITIZEN OF INDIA.

A CANDIDATE MUST BE PHYSICALLY FIT FOR THE EXAM.

MINIMUM HEIGHT REQUIRED FOR MALE CANDIDATE IS 165 C.M. & FEMALE CANDIDATE IS 150 C.M.

For SC/ST/OBC Male Candidates required minimum height is 160 c.m and Female candidate required minimum height is 145 c.m.

CHEST REQUIREMENT:-
Male Candidates require 84 c.m, Expandable chest is 89 c.m.
Female Candidates require 79c.m and Expandable chest is 84 c.m.

EXAM PATTERN:-

Preliminary exam:-
1)general study
2)optional subject

Main exam
Interview

IPS Eligibility :

Academic Qualification :
The candidate must be graduate from any university.

Age Limit :
For General :21 to 30 years.
[SC/ST will get 5 years age relaxation and OBC will get 3 year age relaxation]

No Of Attempts :
General : 4.
SC/ST: Unlimited.
OBC :7.

Yes, you are surely eligible for IPS exam..

Eligibility criteria for IPS exam:-

1.Candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade..

2.Candidate must be a citizen of India.

3.Age should be in between 21-30 years.
For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years.

These are the eligibility criteria for IPS exam..
There is no such percentage criteria is mentioned in the eligibility criteria..
All you need is you just have to complete the graduation..

Bachelor’s degree of a recognized university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification..

iii) No. of permissible attempts :
Four for general
(Seven attempts of OBCs and no limit for SCs/STs

Hi

I did my Btech and passout of 2005, i was supposed to be passout in 2004, but because of subject pending in Btech, i came out in 2005, Am i eligible for Civils. As far as eligibility, my DOB is 10-02-1982, i guess, i have an attempt. Need to know if im eligible since im not regular passout?? Can Anyone help here

Hi, I completed by Btech in 2005, Im supposed to finish in 2004, but due to a subject, i came out in 2005. Am i eligible for CIVILS and i have 60% aggregate in Btech.
I have one attempt based on my DOB (10-02-1982). But worried abt my Btech Passout?? Can anyone help here.

yes you are eligible for the ips exam because there is no condition of percentage for ips exam .

if you are in between 21 to 30 years and if you are graduate from a recognized university then you are eligible for the ips exam

The IPS exam is conducted by the UPSC every year.

Education Qualification :-
Candidates who have completed there graduation are eligible to apply for the IPS exam.

Candidates who have appeared in the final year exam are also eligible to appear for the IPS exam.

age limit :-
Candidates having the minimum age 21 years and maximum age 30 years are eligible to appear for the IPS exam.

Physical Standard:
The physical standard required for the IPS exam is given below:

Height:
Minimum height required for men is 165 cm

Minimum height required for women is 150 cm

There is a relaxation in height for SC/ST,OBC,Gorkhas, Garhwalias, Assamese, Kumaonis, Nagaland Tribals etc. candidates for men it is 160cm and for women it is 145 cm.

So the above eligibility criteria is required for the IPS exam.

Yes,you are eligible for IPS exam.You should have Graduation degree from a recognized university and age 21 to 30 years.

There is not any percentage criteria for IPS exams which are conducted by UPSC.

Dear friend yes you are surely eligible for IPS exam...........

Because for IPS exam you have only passed GRADUATION from any recognised university........................


that's why you are surely eligible for this exam........and you give this exam from

21yrs. to 30yrs........

that's why you are eligible for this exam...........
