In India, Nanotechnology is at its infancy stage and is targeted towards the main streams like electronics, healthcare markets, and other industrial products. Many scientific institutions have been doing Research and Development (R&D) in this field. The scope and application of Nanotechnology is tremendous and mind-boggling and it is one of the hottest career option available to Indian Engineering graduates and all department is used this technology currently. Thus since it works in the nano level, its called the Nanotechnology. Nano+Technology. Now this is a very vast field. These days a lot of new developments are taking place in this stream. All the computers, laptops, PDA's, Palmtops, Mobile phones, Tablet PC's etc work on the concept of nanotechnology. So this stream has got huge scope in the future.
