The lower and upper age limits for most of the Govt. jobs is 21 and 30 respectively. However this upper age limit is for a general category candidate.
For a OBC category the upper limit is entended upto 33 and

For a SC/ST category the upper limit is entended upto 35.

So if you are a general category candiadate you din't have the chance but if
you belong to OBC/SC/ST you still have some chances

Well it depends whether you can apply for the exam or not because there are
many government exam whose upper age limit is more then 30 years but if you
want to apply for the Civil service exam then iam sorry to say but you can not
apply if you are general category students .

The age limit of the exam is 21 to 30 years for general students .
For OBC age limit is 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST the age limit is 21 to 35 years .

There are many government exam which follows the same pattern.Almost all
government exam upper age limit is 30 years .

But you can apply for the government teacher exam. The age limit is extended
to 32 years so you still have a time to take the exam other then this i do not
think that there are any exams where you will be eligible .

hi...most of the government exams have an eligibility criteria of 30 years for the exam, that is your age should be below 30 years at the time of interview for selection ,this is for an general category student ,but if you are an sc/st category student then there is an relaxation of 5 years for you and you can surely write the exam even after the age of 30 years ,if you want still precise answer then pleas tell the name of the examination for which you want to apply and then we can find the exact eligibility criteria for that particular examination and also the answer will be more precise ,
