INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE This examination is conducted by UPSC (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE EXAMINATION) every year,. through this civil service examination Indian government search the best bureaucrats for the administration of the INDIAN government. for apply in this exam , a candidates must have graduation degree from a recognized college,.whatever maybe the stream is ..... the age limit for this examination is - 21-30 years for the general candidates, 21-33 years for the OBC candidates, 21-35 years for the SC\ST candidates .. this civil service examination has three stages to clear- 1. AGE ELIGIBILITY:- *The candidates age should be in between 21-30 years. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. This is the age criteria you have to fulfill.. All the best. |

Eligibility criteria for Civil Service examination: Education qualification: Candidate should have complete graduation with any discipline from a recognized university. Age limit: Age should be between 21 to 30 year for General Category,21 to 33 years for OBC category,21 to 35 years for SC/ST category candidates. Number of attempts: 4 attempts for General category candidates 7 attempts for obc category candidates unlimit attempts for sc/st category candidates. Civil Service(Preliminary exam) Notification for this year: Issue of application form from 4th Feb 2012 to 5th March 2012. Exam will held on 20th May 2012. Civil service (Main Exam) notification for this year: Exam will held on 15th Oct 2012. Yet notification details,were not update,i hope they will be updating notification after preliminary exams. The eligibility criteria required to appear in IAS entrance examination i.e., Civil service entrance examination is as follows. ->you should have 21 years of age. ->You should have a degree certificate while applying. You should note on thing that you should not exceed the max age limit that is 30 years. The max age limit is relaxed for reserved categories. Dear friend, -ias exam is one of the prestigious exam even more than iit-jee exam as it will take you to the apex of any administrative ladder in india….. -you should be determined, hard working and well focused while preparing ias exam. Eligibility criteria involves certain things as mentioned below: 1. Educational qualification: • must be a graduate from a recognised university. • candidates having professional and technical qulification are also eligible. 2. Nationality: • the candidate must be a citzen of india. 3. Age limits: • candidate must attain the age of 21 years and must not attained the age of 30 years on the year in which the examination is being held. • relaxtation of age limit in case of sc/st and other backward categories. Its entrance that is the civil services exam is conducted every year through the UPSC . There are many post which is given to the candidates qualifying the civil services exam like that of the IAS , IPS, IFS ,and tax and customs officers and many others ... The age limit for the civil services exam is that one should be of the age of 21years to 30 years . There is the relaxation on the upper age limits of the OBC candidates of 3 years and also for the SC/ST students of the 5 years . And the educational qualification required is minimum of the graduation passed from the recognized colleges or the university from any discipline .
