Re: How to prepare for GATE entrance exam? The syllabus of the GATE exam is based on the topics of the B.Tech degree. Books for GATE preparation will be available in almost all leading book stores. Practicing previous question papers will also help in exam preparation. The questions on previous exams can be collected through internet or from book stores (in the form of book). You should make sure you cover the entire syllabus. |

Re: How to prepare for GATE entrance exam? dear friend, GATE is an entrance exam for M.tech course , which is conducted by IIT's and IISC jointly.. To crack such a exam you must have vast and clear technical knowledge. For that you have to study your technical papers throughly and try to clear all your doubts.. Beside this you can follow some reference books to get vast knowledge. You can follow books like- GK publishers GATE.. Which is a good guidance for GATE exam.. From where you can practice lots of questions similar to GATE exam. After solving those questions you will get an idea about the question pattern in GATE exam. Try to solve as much as numerical problems.. It will clear your concept.. Also you have to take preparation in aptitude questions.. For that you can prefer books like- RS agarwal quantitative aptitude test.. So, work hard to get a good score in GATE exam.. All the best. |

Re: How to prepare for GATE entrance exam? Dear pal, GATE exam is conducted for engineering aspirants. GATE qualified aspirants are recognised by many companies and universities. With this score you can get into public sector companies too. So it is necessary to prepare well to get good marks. The necessary preparation involves 1. Give a look into the syllabus and see in which subject you are weak at. 2. Concentrate more on the subject in which you are weak. 3. The basic thing which you need to follow is studying the subject daily. 4. Do not memorize the subject . Learn it by understanding the concept. 5. Refer previous year question papers. 6. Do not leave thinking they are not of importance. Study all the concepts. 7. Attempt previous year question paper and complete them within the time so that you are able to manage time While answering the paper remember these do not give wrong answers as negative marks will result in reduction of your score. Do not get tensed while answering the questions. Appear in the exam as if the regular semester exam. |

S. Grewal. Advanced Engineering Mathematics-Erwin Kreyszig. GATE Engineering Mathematics-Kanodia. GATE Engineering Mathematics-Kanodia. for biology use NCERT study biotechnologies basics .... students can get near to success but it's not sure whether you can get succeeded by preferring just a single book.It will be better that you first go through the fundamentals through standard text books of Mathematics and your core subjects right from the first yea rand later go through books like G.K Publishers. all the best |

Dear Team, According to me with a self study book like G.K Publisher's book where all subjects are covered students can get near to success but it's not sure whether you can get succeeded by preferring just a single book.It will be better that you first go through the fundamentals through standard text books of Mathematics and your core subjects right from the first yearand later go through books like G.K Publishers. For Engineering Mathematics you can prefer the following books Higher Engineering Mathematics- Dr. B. S. Grewal. Advanced Engineering Mathematics-Erwin Kreyszig. GATE Engineering Mathematics-Kanodia.
