Sir,NDA Stands for National Defense Academy and this examination is Conducted by UPSC twice in a year and eligible candidates may apply for these wings : 2- Army Wings, 2- Naval wing,3- Air-Force wing. If you have passed your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory Subjects, then you are apply for all the wings. If you have completed your 12Th examination in Commerce or Arts, then you are only eligible to apply for Army Wings.To apply for NDA Examination, Your age should between 16.5 to 19 years and Only Unmarried male candidates may apply.The Notification of NDA Examination will be published on 31/Dec/2011 in the employment newspaper or in the Official website, The last date of apply for NDA Examination : 30/Jan/2012 and the examination will be held on 15/April/2012.You can fill the NDA Application form Only Through Online because no other mode of application should be Accepted. |

To apply for the NDA exam, first of all, you must qualify +2 level of exam with physics and Maths, to be eligible for all the major defense forces like Indian Navy, Indian Air Force and of course Indian Army. The minimum eligible age is 16 1/2 years and the maximum age limit is 19 years. Once you fulfill the eligibility as mentioned above, you may apply for the exam by obtaining application form from the designated post office and head post offices. Apart from this, you may also apply for the exam online through www.upsconline.nic.in. |

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable. SELECTION PROCEDURE FOR NDA EXAM:- 1) Written test which is conducted by UPSC. 2)Personal Interview. EXAM DATE FOR NDA EXAM:- Date of commencement of notification : 31-12-2011 Last date to receive completed application forms : 30-01-2012 Date of NDA I Exam : 15-04-2012 |

You can apply through online also by using online website http://www.upsconline.nic.in ,instruction for filling the online form is availabe on the site itself,you may also apply offline in the common application form devised by the commission for its examinations which can be purchased from the designated head post offices/post offices (specified in appendix-III of the notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs 20/- (Rs twenty only). Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination |

How To Apply For NDA NDA stands for National Defence Academy and the exam for joining it is conducted by UPSC every year twice in the months of April and August.. The next NDA exam is going to be held on 15th April,2012.. The forms for the exam shall available from 31st December,2011 and the last date for submission of forms is 30th January,2012.. The NDA forms shall be available in your nearby post office or your nearest book depots.. In order to appear for the NDA exam..you need to first fulfill the following minimum eligibility criteria :- 1) You should be a 12th pass out from CBSE,ICSE or a state board(with Physics,Chemistry and Maths if you want to join Air Force or Navy) 2) You should be within the age limit of 16.5-19 years Apart from these things..you need to be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight.. You need to clear the written exam..then the interview and then the medical examination.. The written test will mainly test you on the following areas :- Basic Maths General Knowledge English About 300-350 cadets get admission to the academy each semester (through the exams in April and August) About 66 cadets get admission in the Air Force, 39 in the Navy and 195 in the Army. all the best.. National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy,Indian Army. Eligibility criteria for NDA-I/NDA-II exam: Education qualification: Minimum candidate should complete 12th class with PCM stream. Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Citizenship: Indian NDA-I exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 31st Dec 2011 to 30th Jan 2012. Exam will held on 15th April 2012. NDA-II exam notification for this year: Issue of application form from 5th May 2012 to 4th June 2012. Exam will held on 19th Aug 2012. Re: How to apply for NDA entrance exam? HI, There is a common form for all UPSC exams. In the prescribed form, a candidate has to indicate the exam he/she has applied for. Forms are available in selected post offices across the country. As soon as the application forms are received and processed, the candidates will be sent an admit card. Candidates who belong to reserved quota can post their applications along with concession proof. You can apply for both online and offline. |
