Re: Is it possible to complete CA CPT exam preparation within 1 week? This is my 2nd attempt. In my last attempt n that is june i scored 95. I didnt study much for this attempt though. I am confident about my papers but a little scared. And the paper is just a week ahead. Please help. |

If you have very good knowledge of these subjects then you can appear for the exam without any preparation but if you are not a master of these subjects then it won't be possible to qualify the exam at all. If you haven't prepared for the exam till now you will not qualify for sure (if miracles don't happen) but I would suggest you to start your preparation right away so that the same problem doesn't arise next year when you apply again for the same exam. |

Re: Is it possible to complete CA CPT exam preparation within 1 week? Its depends on you how much you can complete. There are four categories in this subject,- 1.Fundamentals of Accounting, 2.Mercantile Laws, 3.Economics and 4.Quantitative Aptitude. I think its difficult to complete. |

CPT exam is conducted several times a year the syllabus for CPT comprises acounting, mercantile laws economics and QA, it is possible for commerce students with good previous knowledge to clear it in even just a week, however if you do not have proficiency in these subjects you should try to attempt the NEXT CPT which is probably in december. |

Hello friend, The common Proficiency test is conducted to test the individuals basic knowledge in accountancy, maths, economics and mercantile law. Since there is not much time left and its just a week to go, its time for revision and not preparation. If, till now, you haven't been preparing for the test, its not worth taking this month. The CPT is not an easy one to crack and specially when there has been no preparation at all. Its true that you must have studied fundamental of accountancy and economics after 10th but subjects like mercantile law might be a very new area of study for you. While talking about quantitative aptitude paper, the problems are based on all the segments of maths and topics like sampling theory and theoretical distribution might prove to be very difficult without much preparation. So, if you attempt for the test, with the kind of preparation you have done, acing it won't be easy at all. |
