Re: New structure of SET exam Question Paper? friend , University grants commission (UGC) has implemented two changed regarding this year SET exam ... ~firstly , they decided to withhold negative marking from paper I and paper II .. The first attached file will give you more information regarding it ... and ~secondly , they have changed the whole pattern of paper III including all the 4 sections asking for analytical , definitional , text and essay based questions .. The second attached file may provide you information regarding this .... refer to the official weblink http://www.ugc.ac.in/inside/net.html for more details regarding the matter ... But I give you in shortly-- I -Essay- Ability to dwell on a theme at an optimum level No. of question-2 words-500/1000 marks-20/40 II- Three analytical/ evaluative questions Ability to reason and hold an argument on the given topic No. of question-3 Words-300/900 marks-15/45 III-Nine definitional/short answer questions Ability to understand and express the same No. of question-9 Words-50/450 marks-10/90 IV-Text based questions Critical thinking, ability to comprehend and formulate the concepts No. of question-5 Words-30/150 marks-5/25 Total-No. of question-19 Words per ans.-2500 Marks per question-200 above are in short but if you want detail then check below given site. http://setexam.unipune.ernet.in/Revised_Struct_paperIII.html Good luck |
