Re: Am I eligible to give NDA(1) exam if I am 18 years old? Yes, you can apply for NDA at an age of 18 years according to the eligibility criteria for NDA. The eligibility criteria for NDA is : 1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried candidate. 4. Age criteria : The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. 5. Education Qualification : You must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. For further details, visit www.upsc.gov.in |

But your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years. Only unmarried male candidate are applicable all the best........ |

Because the eligibility criteria for NDA 1 exam are as follows:- 1.Candidate must have complete the 12th in any trade or its equivalent course. 2.Candidates age should be in between 16.5-19 years. 3.Candidate must a citizen of India. 4.Candidate must be physically fit. These are the eligibility criteria you have to fulfill. So, go for it.. All the best. |

Yes you are eligible for NDA exam according to your age , but you have not mention about your Stream in +2 , Only +2 science stream students can apply for this exam the criteria are as follows....... NDA examination (1) is held in the month of April and the application form will be available from December. Date of Examination of NDA(1) & Last date for receipt of application Date of Notification:-31st December,2011 last date for receipt of application:-30th January ,2012. Date of Examination:-15th April,2012. Friend ,Sorry to tell you But you are not eligible for appearing in the NDA(1) examination as you will treated as above aged. Recently held NDA 2 examination has eligiblity criteria was"only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than2nd July 1993 and no later than 1st January 1996 . but Don't become Sad my friend it may be possible the new age criteria will publish for NDA&NA (1) examination 2012.If you really interested in defense services then you can go through The CDS examination after completing you Graduation. NDA & NA Examination (I) is held in the Month of April and the applications will be available from December. Important Dates Date of Notification:- 31st December,2011. Last Date for Receipt of Applications :- 30th January, 2012. Date/Day of Commencement of Examination:- 15th April,2012 Sorry to tell you but your not eligible for the examination as you will treated as above aged.In the NDA 2 examination held recently the eligibility criteria was "Only unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1993 and not later than 1st January, 1996 are eligible".So, in this examination itself your over aged so you cant apply but if your really interested in Defense services then you can go through the CDS examination after completing your graduation course. |
