To become a CBI officer you have to appear for a combined graduate level exam of SSC(Staff selection commitee) The exam is conducted by Indian govt. The exam has 4 stages which also have soem physical tests wherein you will be tested on the basis of your height,weight eyesight etc You have to get 50% or more in your graduation so you are eligible QUALIFICATION: Graduation in any Discipline. AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. -> Relaxation is given to SC/ST is 5 years ->Relaxation For OBC 3 years @ BEST OF LUCK @ |

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation SSC (Staff Selection Commission) conducts CBI Examination every year usually in the month of February. Final year pursuing candidates are also eligible. The candidate age limit should be between 20 to 27 years. The eligible candidate must be an Indian National having completed Graduation in any stream with 50% from a recognised University within the age of 20 to 27 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate with good Physical Fitness. The selection is through written exam followed by Personal Interview and finally through Physical Fitness and Medical Test. The selected candidate is appointed as sub Inspector post in CBI. The exam is conducted to recruit indivuduals for the post of Sub-inspector in CBI.educational qualification required to write the exam is a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute. Eligibility criteria: The candidate must be complete graduation in any stream from a recognised university. The candidate currently persuing final year also not eligible for this exam. The candidate must be a citizen of india. Age criteria: For general candidates 20 years to 27 years, For OBC candidates 20years to 30 years, For SC/ST candidates 20 years to 32 years. Re: How to become a CBI Officer? Hai buddy.. To apply for the CBI officer post the aspirant need are 1. He/She should have completed bachelor degree from a recognised university. 2. The age limit varies with the post for which you make your application. The relaxation for the age is 3 years for bc and mbc aspirant and it is 5 years for sc and st aspirants. The selection process involves written exam followed by personnel interview based on the merit list. The duration of the entrance exam is 2 hours. The paper consist of objective question for 100 marks and there is penalty for wrong answers. The details regarding the vacancy available will be published in the newspaper and the aspirant can apply providing the necessary information with photo. All the best... |

Your age must be within 18 to 27 yrs only . You should also satisfy the following Minimum Physical Standards also before appearing for this examination : Height :157.5cm Chest :81cm ,fully expanded with a minimum expansion of 5 cm Walking:1600 meters in 15 minutes Cycling:8 Km in 30 minutes So finally , you are positively eligible for appearing this Income Tax Officer Examination after your Engineering . And This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October. Eligiblity - If you have completed your bacholar degree, then you are eligible for appear in this exams. But your age is between 20 to 25 years, only then you are eligible. |

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. Those candidate are graduate from any recognized university with any discipline are eligible for CBI exam.(Criminology) But your age should be in between 20 to 27 years old.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC category as per govt rule. The maximum attempts for SC/ST candidate is Unlimited. For OBC candidate it is 7 years and for general candidate it will be 5 years. Also you must be in citizen in India. The selection process is contain in two stage In first stage written test:- 1)General question ---------- 200marks 2)English -------------------200 marks In second stage you can faced an interview which is contain 100 marks. a.
