So you are not eligible for NDA since you have passed 11th passed. NDA consists of three wings. 1)Army 2)Navy 3)Airforce you can choose any one as your wish. |

Re: Am I eligible for NDA being a candidate of passed 11th with PCM? Sorry, you cannot apply for NDA while pursuing the 11th class. You can apply for it after completing your 12th class from a recognized board/university. The eligibility criteria for NDA is : 1. Nationality : You must be a citizen of India. 2. Gender : You must be a male candidate. 3. Martial Status : You must be an unmarried candidate. 4. Age criteria : The age limit is 16.5 years to 19 years. 5. Education Qualification : You must have passed the 12th class examination or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or university. For further details, visit www.upsc.gov.in |

To apply for this examination you have to complete your 12Th examination form a recognised Board, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for NDA Examination. If you are Pursuing your Intermediate examination and Your age should between 16.5 to 19 Years then you are eligible for NDA Examination. The selection are based on written test, Medical test and Personal Interview. The Recruitment of the examination are based on these 3 wings of NDA : >> Army Wings >> Naval Wings >> Air Force Wings. To apply for all these wings, you have to complete your 12Th examination with Maths and Physics as a compulsory subjects form a recognised Board. you MUST HAVE study Maths and Physics in your 12Th examination, then you are eligible only for Army Wings of NDA. The Notification of Next year NDA Examination will be Published soon on 31/Dec/2011. The last date of apply for NDA (I) Examination : 30/Jan/2012 |

N.D.A stand for NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY(N.D.A). After passing 11th you are not eligible for N.D.A. N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year. It will conducted in month of April and August. After qualifying this exam you can start you career in defence sector like:- >> Indian Army >> Indian Air force >> Indian Navy Eligibility criteria:- > Pass 12th with any subject from recognized university > Age limit:-16.5-19 year > Medically fit There are 3 steps of selection:- -Written exam. -Interview -medical exam. National Defense Academy (NDA) exam is conducted by upsc twice in a year to intake qualified Candidate for different department in Defense service like Indian Airforce, Indian Navy AND Indian Army. Eligibility criteria for NDA exam: Education qualification: For Indian Air Force/Indian Navy:You should have complete 12th class with PCM stream. For Indian Navy:You should have complete 12th class with any stream from a recognized university. Appear for final exam of above mentioned course,then you can also appear for NDA exam Age Limit: Age should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years. Citizenship: Indian NDA-I and NDA-II exam are conducted twice in year, because the person who was not able to attend for NDA-I exam, he can apply for NDA-II exam in the same year, without having gap between the education. As your in 11th class,you are not eligible for NDA exam this years,so you can appear for NDA exam next year. For more details,then click here |

Dear pal, NDA includes army,navy and airforce and the admission into these branches are different. only unmarried males are eligible.The educational qualification required are 1.the aspirant should have completed his 10+2 exams 2.For navy and airforce the aspirant should have completed 10+2 exam with physics, mathematics as their subject 3.The age limit for appearing in the exam is 16 years to 19 years 4.Aspirants appearing in their 12th standard can also apply 5.Aspirant who have withdrawn during training are not eligible 6.The aspirants need to satisfy the weight and height requirements. for navy special requirements are limit of myopia- -0.75 limit of hypermetropia-1.5 binocular vision-3 limit for colour perception-1 |
