Past Papers of IES & GATE Civil Engineering I have attached a few past papers of GATE Civil Engineering along with this reply.. Go through them and observe the pattern and the level of the questions asked.. I would suggest you to buy any of the following recommended books to go through the past papers of Civil Engineering   For appearing in the Indian Engineering Service Exams or GATE..you must have completed your B.Tech in Civil Engineering or a final year student.. There is no age limit for appearing in GATE neither there is any constraint on the number of attempts for appearing in the exams.. For appearing in the Indian Engineering Services..a candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years and the maximum number of attempts for appearing in the exam is 4 (for general category) The forms for the Indian Engineering Services will be released on 25th February,2012 The last date to submit the forms is 26th March,2012 The exam shall be conducted on 15th June,2012 and will go on for 3 days..
