books by arihant publication or those books for GATE are also good for ies

Hi dear,you are eligible for IES exam so you can apply while in final year.The IES exam consists the topics like
1.Questions related to your branch.
2.Aptitude and reasoning question.
3.General awareness.
4.Derivative theory questions.
For clearing this exam first of all you should strong in engineering subjects.
Total this IES exam is conducte for 3 days total 5 papers.
1.First paper consists of aptitude and reasoning questions.
2.2nd and 3rd paper consists of Question from your branch.
4.4th and 5th papers consists of descriptive type questions.
