Lots of students have this branch as the no 1 choice.The companies also look out for electronics engg. If you do MTech or ME then it will be cherry of the cake. So go for post graduation later.You take my word...just go for it but make sure you try to show some interest in it as those who are uninterested in it can have a tough life ahead.... Job opportunity after finishing B.E. electronics & instrumentation as per my knowledge u can go in private sector as well as govt. sector through this stream. for ur private sector jobs r 1.TCS 2.INFOSYS 3.IBM 4.MAHINDRA SATYM 5.WIPPRO etc and to get govt. jobs u have to give various exam like 1.IES 2.IAS 3.NAVY 4.AIRFORCE 5.ARMY etc |

Because the need for automation will never recede in near future as it is very important for economic vitality of any country.The tools for automation will be invented by research scientists in near future and scope is unlimited in any large scale manufacturing process industries.Some of the core sectors of the economy like petrochemicals, Power, Fertilizers, heavy chemicals, copper, steel, cement, copper, rubber & plastics, textiles & leather, automobiles all require instrumentation & automation engineer. So dont worry just go ahead and tell your parents this is the right choice. |

You may get very good job, if you have good percentage in B.E,and very good communication & representation skills. You may get job in private as well as in government sectors. Eligibility core companies You should be degree holder of BE/B.Tech or MCA . You should have 60% marks in above for being eligible . You should not have any current backlog . You should have good communication and logical skills . It will be plus point if you have some certification course like...... Certificate courses Embedded courses Robotics courses Training certificates from companies such as....BSNL,NTPC etc. Intern certificate from companies such as....BSNL,NTPC,BHEL. The eligibility for most of them is BE/B.Tech as you have pursued so you are eligible and also you need to be very skilled to be selected for well profiled job as they will check all sorts of skills needed to attend a position . for applying to them , you need to have a cgpa of 6 on a ten pointer scale . selection to them is purely on the merit basis . some such companies are : aban offshore ltd. abott india limited ... you can give given below exam 1.railways. 2.NTPC. 3.ONGC. 4.BHEL. 5.IES. 6.IAS. 7.UPSC. good luck |
