Your age should in between 18-28 years.Upper age limit will be appear for ST/SC/OBC candidates. Eligibility for Bank PO's. You have to pass your Graduation in any recognized University.. Your age should in between 21-30 years.Upper age limit will be appear for ST/SC/OBC candidates. Here its not a matter the degree is private or distance. If you have any interest on the bank exams.Then you have to apply. So you are eligible for bank exams Good luck..... |

Re: Required age limit for Bank Clerk Exams? IBPS-INSTITUTE OF BANKING PERSONAL SELECTION conducts bank clerical exam for 219 Public sector bank as per the bank's requirement time to time. The candidate should have completed 12th in any stream with 50% marks from a recognised Board or have completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University is eligible to apply for IBPS bank clerk exam. SBI also conducts clerk exam with the above qualification criteria. The age of the candidate should be within 18 to 28 years. There is uper age relaxation for reserved candidate. You must be Passed Inter i.e 10+2 in any Discipline Or else you must be Graduate From a Recognized University in any discipline than you are eligible forbank job. for the eligibility criterion of the notification if you find that you are eligible for the bank examination then apply for the bank examination otherwise choose any other option. you can only apply for bank PO exams but you can't apply for the bank clerk exam now, because the age eligibility for bank clerk is 18-28 years.You must be Degree holder from any stream in a recognized university or affiliated college or from a deemed University under University grants commission act 1956. |

Dear friend, You are interested in BANK JOBS At first I want to say that both PO and CLERK are good It depends how much you are qualified Criteria for PO : 1.Academic qualification : the candidate should complete graduation with at least 50% marks. 2.Age limitation : The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years. Criteria for Clerk : 1.Academic qualification : The candidate must complete 12th standard with decent marks 2.Age limitation : the age of the candidate must be within 18 to 28 years. Well different bank have different eligibility criteria for the clerical post .Since you didnt specify the Bank name you are interested in so i will give you details about different bank and their eligibility criteria for the clerical post. IBPS:: This examination is conducted by the IBPS every year .The examination is done to recruit students for 18 banks except the SBI and its associate's bank do not take part in this drive . Eligibility : Eligibility :: The interested candidates should have a completed their class 12th with 60%marks Those students who have got degree in any streams can also apply for the clerical exams. You should be between 18-23 years .There is some relaxation in upper age limit is given to the SC/ST/OBC students . SBI :: For clerical :: You should not be less then 18 years and not above 28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is given to SC/ST/OBC . You must have got a bachelor's degree of a recognized University in any discipline. Bank Of Baroda :: For clerical :: You should not be less then 18 years and not above 28 years. Relaxation in upper age limit is given to SC/ST/OBC . You must have passed 10+2 with 55% marks . Punjab National Bank For clerical :: You should be graduate in any discipline with 50% marks or equivalent qualification. You should be between 20 years and 25 years. |

From this academic year, IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection) is conducting common written exam for the recruitment of clerks for 19 public sector banks. SBI and SBI Associate Banks will not come under this category. The selection procedure for Clerk positions in various banks is by -Written Test -Interview. Here is the required age criteria for bank clerk exams. -One should be in the age group of 18-28 years to be eligible for bank clerk exams. -Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category As per academic qualification, one should have compelted 12th class with a minimum of 60% of marks from a recognized board.
