Hello Friend,

Yes it is possible to apply for IIT JEE after completing the Diploma becuase diploma is equivalent to 12th .

But you must clear your diploma with 70%.

The age limit is 25 years.

THe online form filling date is end.So wait for next year.

Eligibility for IIT-JEE Examination:-

1. The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized Central/State Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi; Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi; etc with 60% in PCM.For SC/ST/PD Candidate, the relaxation is 55%..

2.Age Should be in between 18 years to 25 years.

1.>Start of Online application process:-Monday,October 31, 2011.

2.>Closing of Online application process:-Saturday December 10, 2011.

3.>Start of Offline OMR Application Forms sale at Bank Branches Friday November 11, 2011

4.>Close of Offline OMR Application Forms sale Monday December 5, 2011.

5.>Last date of receipt completed IIT-JEE 2012 Application Form:-Thursday December 15, 2011.

6.>IIT-JEE 2012 examination day:-Sunday,April 8, 2012.

7.>Declaration of IIT JEE 2012 Results:-Friday,May 18, 2012

The Apply Procedure:-

(a)Online: For online submission of applications, IIT Bombay – http://www.jee.iitb.ac.in ,IIT Delhi – http://jee.iitd.ac.in For Online Form fill up.

(b)Offline:

A candidate can register Offline using the prescribed Optical Machine Readable (OMR) Application Form which can be obtained by cash purchase from bank branches given below with effect from 11 November, 2011.

Form for GE/OBC Male candidates-Rs 1800

yeah you are applicable, but You can appear only in the year of passing your diploma and in the next consecutive year.

eligibility for IIT

Passing 12th class with 60% equivalent in (physic, chemistry and maths).

The candidate can appear only twice for IIT JEE,once in the year of passing 12th and in the next consecutive year

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IIT-JEE :-

Hi friend,

Yes, you are eligible to appear for IIT-JEE.

Minimum criteria to appear in this exam is , you should have passed 12th or equivalent. Here you have done diploma so its equivalent to 12th.

you can appear 2 times in these exam, one in your passing year of Diploma and other in next following year.

your age must be below 25 years to appear for this exam.

Dear pal,
IIT conducts joint entrance exam for admitting the eligible aspirant to the bachelor degree in engineering . Joint implies common entrance exam for admitting aspirants to all the IIT institutes in India. The eligibility for appearing in the entrance exam includes
1. The aspirant should have completed 10+2 exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics, physics and chemistry as subject.
Aspirant who have completed diploma from university recognised by aicte are also eligible.
Aspirant who are appearing in the qualifying exam are eligible to appear for the exam. The aspirant can appear in the exam for a maximum of two times.
JEE being a competitive exam a good preparation is required to clear the course. You can go for a coaching centre too. As you have completed diploma you are also eligible for the exam.

Eligibility For IIT JEE

For appearing in IIT JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) a candidate must fulfill the following eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidate must be less than 25 years of age..

2) The candidate should have passed out 12th or equivalent with an aggregate percentage of 60 in Physics,Chemistry and Maths..

3) The candidate can appear only twice for IIT JEE,once in the year of passing 12th and in the next consecutive year

Since, diploma is considered to be an equivalent for class 12th hence,instead of your 12th percentage, your diploma percentage will be taken into account for the eligibility criterion..

You can appear only in the year of passing your diploma and in the next consecutive year..

The IIT JEE consists of 2 papers of 3 hours duration each

The last date for form submission for IIT JEE 2012 has just gone by which was 5th December,2012

The IIT JEE 2012 is going to be held on 8th April,2012
