Re: Am i eligible for MBA after scoring 49% in degree? After scoring 49% in Graduation you will be eligible for MBA through entrance test like MAT. MAT - Management Aptitude Test conducted by IMA(Indian Management Association) for admission to MBA course. The candidate having completed Graduation in any stream from a recognised University is eligible to apply for MAT. There is no percentage of marks criteria for application to MAT. If you want to apply MBA through CAT(Common Admission Test) conducted by IIM then you shold have secured 50% marks in Graduation which is relaxed for SC/ST candidate for 45% marks. As you have secured 49% in Graduation and if you are of reserved category candidate then you will be eligible to apply for CAT. |

Hai, According to your educational qualification you are not eligible for doing MBA, but there is one chance for you i.e CAT exam, if you write CAT exam and then score good marks in entrance exam then you are eligible to do MBA. Otherwise you are coming from SC/ST category then you are eligible. Eligibility criteria: The candidate should be complete graduation from a recognised university with atleast 50%marks. 5% of marks relaxation for SC/ST candidates. Final year graduation candidates are also eligible. There is no age limit. Citizen of india. |

Re: Am i eligible for MBA after scoring 49% in degree? Directly you can't enter with this 49% marks.So write the CAT exam and score more percentage then you will be accepted for MBA course. But some colleges won't take because you not have sufficient percentage in degree. EDUCATIONAL CRITERIA: 1.The candidate must holda Bachelor¡¯s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. 2.It is reduced to 45% for SC/ST/PD candidates. |

Re: Am i eligible for MBA after scoring 49% in degree? dear friend, My friend you can go for MBA course , but not eligible for any IIM's.. Because to get admission in IIM's you need to qualify in CAT exam.. To appear in CAT exam one has to secure 50% aggregate in graduation. But you can go for other entrance exams to get admission in MBA course.. So, go for those exams.... All the best.. |

Re: Am i eligible for MBA after scoring 49% in degree? Am i eligible for MBA after scoring 49% in degree? The best way to enter into MBA course is through CAT exam .The eligibility criteria for CAT are as follows :
As you can see that It need at least 50% in graduation and you have scored just 49% so you are not eligible (if you belong to general category) . If you belong to SC/ST or PD group then you are eligible as they need only 45% in graduation. If you failed to clear the eligibility criteria then you will not allowed to appear in the CAT and you will not get top Management Institutes . If you still want to get an MBA degree , then there are so many institutes which provides this course on the basis of their own entrance test or personal interview so you can join those institutes.
