Hi AIEEE is the All India Engineering Entrance Examination which is an all India entrance conducted by the CBSE every year to select candidates for the B.E/B.Tech/B.Arch based on the merit of ranks in AIEEE. Now when you have purchased the Information Brochure of the AIEEE 2012,every information is clearly specified in that. >>> Still as per your query, The AIEEE form requires a passport size BLACK & WHITE Photograph with your name and the date of taking that photo mentioned below. You have to get this photograph done from some photo studio, and then you have to paste it, attest it yourself and then send it to the concerned authorities. AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance examination. this exam conducted by central board of secondary education, for admission to various NIT, IIIT, deemed universities. you can apply for AIEEE 2012 online and offline for Exam. Date of AIEEE 2012 offline exam is 29.04.2012 Dates of AIEEE 2012 Online Exam is 07-05-2012 to 26-05-2012 Online submission of application form on this website:- www.cbse.nic.in www.aieee.nic.in on the date 15.11.2011 to 31.12.2011. black/white recent passport size photograph allowed in the filling form. for more detail:- www.aieee.nic.in |

Re: What type of photo is required in the AIEEE form? Dear pal, in the confirmation page of the printout you need to fix a passport size photo. It is for the reference purpose and to know who you are the details regarding the photo are the aspirant should attach a colour photo . It need to be fixed to it . You should not staple it . Fix the photo with good adhesive so that it do not get separated out. The photo need to be attested by the head of the institution or by any gazzetted officer. Attestation is for the purpose to make sure that you are a good person without any issue . The filled application with the photo need to be sent by speed post or registered post. Application sent through courier will not be accepted. |

According to the Information Bronchure provided by AIEEE regarding photograph is "Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size prefereble black and white photograph taken on or after 1.10.2011 with gum /fevicol not steppled or pinned in the space provided in the form duly attested by the head of institution where the candidate is studying/passed class 12th .The photograph must indicate clearly the Name of student and date of taking the photograph" So as per Instruction ,Coloured Photograph is not allowed.Please read the information Brochure before filling up of application form. Firmly affix two recent high contrast passport size preferably black & white photograph (taken on or after 1.10.2011) with gum/fevicol (not to be pinned or stapled) in the space provided for it in the Confirmation Page one duly attested by the head of the institution where the candidate is studying/passed class XII or the Gazatted officer. |
