Re: Can I apply for AFMC based on DOB (Date of Birth) For appearing for AFMC (2010) you must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent. A candidate who has passed B.Sc. examination or will be appearing in final B.Sc. examination and seeks admission, he/she must not have attained the age of 24 years on 31 December 2010 i.e. must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1987. |

A candidate should be a citizen of India or be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India. 2.Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. 3. should be medically fit 4. has passed the qualifying exam with more than 6o% |

Re: Can I apply for AFMC based on DOB (Date of Birth) Eligibility Criteria For AFMC examination - Candidate must be an Indian. - Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible. - Passed or Appearing in qualifying exam i.e 12th candidate can only apply for it. - Must attain age of 17 year as on 31 Dec of AFMC exam year and must not attain age above 22 years. For appearing for AFMC (2010) you must have attained the age of 17 years on 31 December 2010 but must NOT have attained the age of 22 years on the date i.e. not born earlier than 01 January 1989 and not later than 31 December 1993, if the academic qualification of the candidate is 10+2 or equivalent. Re: Can I apply for AFMC based on DOB (Date of Birth) foe applying in the exam of AFMC the person should be atleast 17 yrs of age and upto 22 yrs of age..... after that the person is not allowed to try for the exam.................................. but you should be atleast getting 60% aggregate in your boards to apply for the same..... |

Re: Can I apply for AFMC based on DOB (Date of Birth) dear friend as you said that your date of birth is 18.05.93, so you will attain the age limit of 17 as on 18.05.2010. so on this basis you are eligible to apply for AFMC . as the requirement for applying AFMC is: you must be an indian citizen. you must be single. and you must be medically fit and healthy. so you can apply for the AFMC in 2010. all the best. |

A candidate should be a citizen of India or be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan or a person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan or any other foreign country with the intention of permanently settling in India. 2. Must be unmarried. Marrying during the course is not permitted. 3. Should be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence 4. Must have attained the age of 17yrs on 31st Dec of the year of application, but must not have attained the age of 22 years on that date(Not more than 24 years in case of candidates who have passed or are appearing in final B Sc examinations). education qualification :- Candidate must have passed all the subjects opted for in the first attempt of the qualifying examinations as a regular candidate with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these 3 science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects. you must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the 10th standard. best of luck |

Re: Can I apply for AFMC based on DOB (Date of Birth) Applicants must have passed the XII standard/pre-professional/premedical examination or equivalent examination of statutory Indian University/Board or any other recognized Board/University as a regular student in all the subjects opted for in FIRST ATTEMPT with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology securing not less than 60% of aggregate marks in the three science subjects taken together, not less than 50% marks in each of the science subjects and not less than 50% marks in English. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics at least of the matriculation standard. |
