Have finished my engineering in information technology with an aggregate of 83% last year...! I had secured 80% in 10th and 12th respectively.Still i didn't get enough chance to get a good job...! What can i do to get a good job...? And what are the extra qualifications i need to get a good job...? Please reply. |

Which extra courses a btech should do to get a good job? hello dear, for a fresher it is so difficult to get directly a good job. but don't get upset so easily...keep on trying to search for a good job.. the MNC's where you can apply for a job are 1.TCS 2.CTS 3.WIPRO 4.IBM 5.CAPE GEMINI 6.INFOSYS etc.. If you want to get some professional courses for better reference, then you can join good institutes to complete a certificate course which you find as essential. good luck |

Which extra courses a btech should do to get a good job? dear friend, After completion of B.tech in electronics and communication stream you will have lots of job opportunities.. Being an ECE stream student you will be able to apply for core sector jobs as well as software sector jobs... Now it depends upon you that in which field you want to make your future career. If you want to get a job in software sector then you must have some fundamental knowledge on programming languages like-- C, C++, JAVA etc...So, you can go for short term courses in any of these programing languages... These things will help you to become a software developer in future.. The MNC's where you can apply for a job are like--------------- 1.TCS 2.CTS 3.WIPRO 4.IBM 5.CAPE GEMINI 6.INFOSYS etc.. If you want to get a job in core technical field then no need to do any course further.. All you need is , a vast technical knowledge. Because to get a core technical job you have to qualify in the written test first... After which you have to go through the technical interview.. Now you decide in which field you want to go.. What you have to do you should apply for jobs released from time to time and join any company. After a good experience you will get good pay scale on the basis of your experience. So you should just do the job which you got . Don't waste your time in search of good pay scale jobs . Since because of resection its hard to get high packages. You have quite good percentile in your graduation and you must get something very good as you worth. In the branch like ECE, there are ample job opportunities in today's market. You can search for core jobs or even if you have good software skills you can easily join reputed software companies. If you want to get some professional courses for better reference, then you can join good institutes to complete a certificate course which you find as essential. Chances of getting jobs in the tele-communication companies are also bright as there are exams like Junior Telecom Officer of BSNL, or other recruitment company exams like MTNL. There are both electronic and non-electronic media to guide you in the search of jobs. Just register in a well known job site or consultancy service and they can help you to get a good job. Look for the notifications of various companies job recruitments in employment news or national dailys and apply according to that. Don't get disheartened,and don't sit idly. Always be optimistic and positive...You will surely going to get a worthy job if you look for it heartily.. Wish you best of luck! |

Gudevng sir, am a b.tech 3rd yr CSE student and i got 78% in 10th , 90% in 12th nd having aggregrate about 78% in b.tech (still studing) nd besides i have participated in some ppts and posterpresentations ,also attained the Android workshop at NITW.Now, Am looking to get a good job at my 4-1 sem itself .Can anyone suggest me how to get recuirted in top MNC campanies . Placements are completely dependent on whether the company finds you suitable for the job or not. It is your aptitude which will get you some award. But if you don't want to go for these courses then you can switch towards programming and following programming courses are best for getting jobs:

I secured only 75% in Madhyamik. As per my knowledge, there is a good job oppurtunity in Saudi Arabia, would you prefer me to go ahed for Saudi Arabia in future? |

Well, there could be 2 better options to choose from :- Option A.Take up a job at an reputed MNC and hone your skills in your field of studies.Option B.Get enrolled for a full-time program(such as, MS in Computers, MBA (IT), Patent Engineering etc.), at a very good institute which will provide you with a confirmed job opportunity on completion of the higher program. If you wish to know about the studies in the field of Patent Engineering and how it will benefit you, try and search for Intellectual Property Courses from any IP institute in India. |

Dear job seekers, Degree with good percentage of marks is not the only criteria for getting a good job. One should master the art of facing the interview ,and have good communication skills,apart from having good subject and presentation skills. One should develop good language apart from good dress code . One should appear confident, have Positive attitude. Hi , I completed my B-Tech in Computer Science in 2010 with 69% but my 12th board is 59% due to this more company where I could not apply. But i am not interesting in doing programing field.I am looking different career options which is something new and lot of opportunity for fresher on them . But as per me is concern it will be better if you go for your master degree like M.Tech or MBA. After completing your masters degree you will be paid more at your companies or you can be a lecturer of institutes. |

This is totally unfair with you. You may chose some courses like embedded system, VLSI design etc for getting good job. Otherwise you have to do M.Tech for getting good job. Best of luck!!! |

Its strange that even after getting such a good percentage you are finding it tough to get a job that too after ECE. Anyways no worries just try to apply for campus job offers or you can even try for offcampus job application You can try courses related to your ECE courses. But on the whole i would advice you to go for further studies like MTech,MBA etc Why not give it a try? So think about it whether you want to do or wanna get a job.. |

Which extra courses a btech should do to get a good job? dear friend u have a very good percentage of marks in b.tech so don't worry for job. be confident of yourself and keep trying. to get qualified for a good job u should concentrate on the following things 1. aptitude test which includes quantitative ,verbal and non verbal, logical reasoning 2.technical written test where questions will be asked related to your subjects. for this u study your text books as well as objective books. 3.after written test u will be called for GD or HR/TECHNICAL interview. u must be a good English speaker. u should workhard on these sections after this u will get a good job. all the best. |
