i am a b.tech graduate.i have cleared ibps po written.My result was published on 9th august 2011....bt before 1.07.2011 i had appeared my final semester exam..am i eligible to appear the interview???

manly two types of interviews
1>group interviews
2>personal interviews
group discussion as it is typically called is a simulated exercise where a group of candites'it is a test of the following :
1> candidates knowledge and content
2>candidates communication skills like listing and speaking
i interview tellers all days and the main things i ask is how well they understand the bank's products and services

Criteria for IBPS PO :

1.Academic qualification :
the candidate should complete graduation with at least 50% marks.

2.Age limitation :
The age of the candidate must be within 21 to 30 years.

You will receive a score card after clearing IBPS PO exam. You have to apply to various banks on the basis of this score card. You have to appear for GD and or Interview according to the bank you apply for. For interview you should dress neatly and conservatively. You should answer all questions in loud and clear voice. You should be confident while appearing for the interview. You should prepare well with all the aspects of the bank you have applied for. If you prepare well and present yourself in the best possible manner you will definitely clear the interview.

in interview they ask questions on current affairs,deep question on ur hobbies,u should perfect on english with good communication skill

you should join any institute which refers the english speeking course and can give interview tips . you should heed more on english at this time .and should have self confidence.

TIPS TO PREPARE FOR IBPS PO EXAM

IBPS PO interview will be same as the interview which happens in the software companies and other companies, where a interviewer will ask questions to the interviewee ( you )..

-> CONFIDENCE.

-> GOOD & CLEAR COMMUNICATION.

-> RIGHT POSTURE. ( Dressing sense and the way you sit, talk etc. )

To get prepare for IBPS PO interview, one has to be good in soft skills like-

1.Personality

2.Politeness

3.Attitude

4.Body language

5.Speaking english

These are the important factors you have to build in you.

In interview you have to face two sessions..

1.HR Interview

2.Technical interview.

In technical interview they will ask you questions from technical subjects or questions from banking..

In HR session they will ask you HR questions..

You can prefer some books to prepare for BANK PO interview..
