I have done MCA from IGNOU in 2013 and completed my MBA in information System management in 2015. What should do. What kind of job can I get. What would be the salary as a fresher.
Please guide me.

MCA stands for Master of Computer Applications. This is a 3 year Post Graduation program being offered by many of the colleges in India.

Soon after the completion of this course, there will be good career scope and job opportunities for the candidates.

But the thing is that the candidate should be strong enough in communication skills and subject knowledge to grab the job opportunities.

Currently software is in good boom in India.

You will be having plenty of job opportunities in variety of IT companies like
TCS
INFOSYS
WIPRO
GOOGLE
ORACLE
MICROSOFT
SYNTEL
Polaris etc.

These companies will conduct the following rounds of selection procedure to recruit the candidates.

Written Exam
Group Discussion
Technical Interview
HR Interview

To be eligible to apply for the job opportunities,

You should have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in all your academic levels.

Your academic gap should not be more than 2 years.

You should not have any pending backlogs.

Have good preparation for the selection procedure and crack it.

I think 'after MCA you can go for MNC or M.tech. that is depends on you and your family background.means if you are belonging from a rich family then u may go for M.tech however you are belonging from a middle class family then you may go for a job. because it can help your family to growth your family income.

There are lots of courses you can do after you MCA like you can go for research field,teaching or even MBA

I would recommend you to go for MBA. This will make your career flourish. So that will be better.

However go for what you like and chose the field which you prefer

According to me, I think your should start your career now and go for a good job.
It will enhance your knowledge and experience both, and MCA is a PG course and
is enough for starting of a career. After earning some money you can again
continue your studies.

You can do some additional courses to get good command on
programming languages and database so that it would be helpful
for you to get a good job.......

MCA is equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering)

MCA with B.Sc. (Computer Science) background is equivalent to ME (Computer Science and Engineering).

B.Sc. Computer Science (3 Yrs) + MCA (3 Yrs) = 6 Years.

BE Computer Science (4 Yrs) + ME (2Yrs) = 6 Years.

MCA and ME both are equal.

Companies are giving equal priority to both MCA and ME.

Two Master’s Degrees, MCA and ME, are treated Same for jobs and there is no difference in the competence ratings.

Both MCA and ME (Computer Science and Engineering) Professional Degree courses, the contents of theory and practical syllabus are Same.

MCA and ME Degree holders are Equal to each other.

MCA – Master of Computer Applications.

ME – Master of Engineering (Computer Science and Engineering).

MCA have so much scope in IT sector.So if you dont get any job yet dont worry about it.You can get job easily in private sector.The only one thing do you have command on a perticular field like programming??If you have knowledge about programming then its not enough for a job.You should choose a perticular language and work on it.Java is the best option to choose.Do regular programming.It will help you to get a job.and when you have a great knowledge about programming then you can apply for a job.

Do hard work to get a good job.

MBA is a very good option after MCA as management and IT is well liked by the employers these days, admissions are also open in almost all universities.... programs like logistics, infrastructure, international business, port and shipping, information system mgmt are in good demand in the job market and you can easily get a job too in the market. If these programs interests you then you can look for UPES, a core sector university which is located in Dehradun and its programs and faculty are famous in pan Asia region....

After MCA You can do ME.

Eligibility Qualifications for admission to M.E. Computer Science and Engineering

B.E./ B.Tech. (EEE/ ECE/ Electronics/ IT/ CSE/ I&C/ E&I/Instrumentation) or
M.C.A. (10+2+3+3 years pattern) or
M.Sc. 5 years integrated (IT / CS / Software Engineering)

NOTE

• M. Sc. (2 years) course is NOT eligible for admission to M.E. (Computer Science).

• Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in Degree Courses are NOT eligible except, B.E./B.Tech. degree.

You have to do nothing now..
because you have now Master degree in your hand..
Now you have to post your resume in companies to get good job..
You can also apply for government jobs like banks or in post offices or in Railways etc..

After MCA you can apply for so many job at MNCs
But for that you have good percentages in degerer and master
appx 60-70%
anda you have deep knowledge in your core Subject
there are lots of vacancies coming for MCA students

Now a days most of the companies are hiring soft skill candidates and scope of MCA is very good and MCA students are getting more salary. So, MCA is perfect course to do

your MCA has been completed n u didnt get any job......its right
actullly u have to strong ur programming like C C++ , JAVA, DOT NET , AJAX , PHP, MY SQL,etc etc
any of one programming u have strong.
and basic concept of ur subject during the MCA like OPPS , DATA structure , DBMS, Computer network n ur major project .
please studies about some intresting subject n programming of ur choice.

if you want to do job from home then you may get any part time home based job in contractual basis. but in this way you will not be able to explore your career very much. now a days one children is not a problem. just shift your room in very near to your work place. after that join in any reputed company. you can do your job and also take care of your children simultaneously.

till if you don't want work for full time in company then you have to take project in contractual basis in your own risk. some company are there which gives project to the engineer and engineer should submit the project by any means within the specified date positively. they don't have to come to the office. they may do it from home. but you must be expert level worker to get this type of job and you have to first impress the company by a good performance in any project.

otherwise you have to do home based job which is not related to engineering. like data entry job, survey job, consultancy through phone this type of job.

now you should choose the better option for your career.

Its difficult to get into IT field once you got break.
IT field wont consider your teaching experience.
But still you can get into IT field by doing some courses.
Try for some certifications like
scjp,
oracel certifications,
microsoft certifications.

You can do online jobs which can be done through home itself but before going for such you must enquire enough about the organisation providing the job

MCA is a professional degree and after its completion one must get job but is so sad that you are not getting it. Well its ok but i would just suggest you that you should go for MBA(Computer Management). Its one of the best option for computer's professional students.
You can aply for MBA through distant learning program or open learning and do your job along MBA. Definetly one can get best salary after having a good experiance so fetch experiance along with MBA and then further register on Shine.com.
