I would like to know what is difference between Health care Services, Health Care Administration, Hospital Management and Adminsitration. After doing MBA in Health Care Services, Can I get a job of Hospital Administration? Can I get good income after MBA-HCS? Please clear the doubt? Or I need to do any more health care jobs other then MBA-HCS for good scope. |

A Hospital Administrator's responsibility is to look at the overall organisation and management of the hospital to ensure its smooth functioning of every thing starting from: co-ordination between the various departments of the hospital, ensuring that all the equipment is functioning or not, medical supply is proper or not, cleanliness is maintained or not, dealing with the employees and financial matters. and above all, giving complete satisfaction to the patients.... You have to remember three things: quality, efficiency and cost management. You have to use all the three resources effectively...... You may start you job as an assistant hospital administrators, or as managers of non-health departments, like finance. you may also get jobs in hospitals, large group medical practices, clinics, mental health facilities, and multifacility nursing home corporations. |
