Re: prepration for govt. job you can do quite a lot with an english literature degree. A llot of students who take English Literature as a degree are often people who want to be writers themselves but that does't mean that it stops you from getting into other careers. you mentioned that you take medicine to be a doctor but that's quite a specific fild where english lit ends to be a litttle more broader with what you can get into. you could be a journalist , teacher, lecturer, publisher, reporter, researcher and careers within the media and it. i'm sure there's many careers you can get into but there just a few to name |

Re: prepration for govt. job hello sir there are very less chances to get govt job because your age is above 30 you're in safe hands if you're a reserved candidate like sc or st all the govt exams like cse rrb a iaf etc... has the common eligibility of 30 years max all the best sir ~aditya~ |

Re: prepration for govt. job dear friend, though there are age restrictions in various employment categories, you can still get into a government job through UPSC exams and the various public service exams organised by the various states. but to get into the government job through public service commission exams, you need to work extremely hard and score really high as competition from the younger generation would be very high. and many other government related companies and organisations have regular announcements of their recruitment details. pay attention to them. so all the best. god bless you. |
