Re: GATE after BSc No i dont think so you are eligible as the eligibility criteria says that the candidate must be a BTech gradute or MSc graduate if he/she wanna be eligible for exam. So first you will need to complete your MSc then you can appear for GATE Cheers |

Re: GATE after BSc You are not eligible for get because condition are: only final year & pre final year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam. after M.sc doing M.sc. students are also eligible to attain in the gate exam. I suggest to you please complete your M.sc the you can eligible for M.tech after qualify GATE exam. |

Re: GATE after BSc hy, Sorry. You are not eligible for GATE Exam. The basic qualification to appear for the GATE Exam is that you should hold a professional graduation like BE, BTech etc. GATE is entrance Exam conducted for entry into professional courses offered by IIT's and other top notch institutes that consider GATE score. So fo that first you need to complete your MSc then you can appear for GATE |

Re: GATE after BSc I am a b.sc student in 2nd year.i wish to study masters in astrophysics from the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF ASTROPHYSICS in the IISc campus at Bangalore. one of the ways by which i can get admission there is the GATE examination,but to give GATE exam I already need to be in M.Sc course. so can i give GATE after completing my graduation in physics?please help me as fast as you can. |

Re: GATE after BSc no you are not eligible for GATE. but you may appear on GATE examination. but you can not use it to take admission in msc. only be or btec student and after msc the general candidate are eligible for GATE to use the score card. GATE score card now two years valid so if you complete your m.sc within two years then you may appear in GATE to use the score card after msc. |

Re: GATE after BSc hello dear the GATE eligibilty is given below 1.minimum graduation in engineering. final year & prefinal year btech students are allowed to attain in the gate exam. 2.after msc doing msc. students are also eligibile to attain in the gate exam. there have not any age limit to attain in the gate exam. so you can't appear in Gate exam right now. all the best............ |

Master’s degree in any branch of Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent. You can refer the site gateonline.gateiisc.in/gate2011 for more details. |

Re: GATE after BSc gate score from this year is taken out of 100. from any department of engg.,minimum score is 25/100. you have to score that after completing your msc only. bsc not eligible |

Re: GATE after BSc Dear friend, I regret that you can't appear for GATE after B.Sc, because according to the eligibility criteria of GATE one must have graduation in B.E/B.Tech or Master's degree in pure science subjects. So at first complete your Master's degree then you can apply for GATE. Good luck! |

Re: GATE after BSc Sorry!!!! to say dear you are not eligible for GATE, because the eligibility criteria is a candidate must be B.Tech graduate or having any master degree in science discipline. So you need to complete your m.sc and then apply for GATE. Good luck!!! |
